No, I went for a walk before but nothing after. Ok thanks, no doubt I will be feeling the burn soon enough!

Thanks for your answers. I've done a few TDEE calculators and got generally within the 2000-2100 range so I will start at 2000 and see how I go from there. Feeling really excited about starting weight training, done all my measurements and "Before" pics, hopefully by the time I get married in August I will be a powerhouse…

As far as I can gather HRMs are no good for exercise that isn't cardio.

Like!

I wholeheartedly agree

Oh my god I am so on board with this thread! Although I haven't actually gone down any sizes, my breasts have deflated a lot and I'm almost considering putting weight back on because I hate it! I can't wear balcony bras anymore, just those full cup things, I want pretty underwear and my pert boobs back! I'm getting married…

Yeah well I've become a bit scale obsessed and was more interested in being skinny than fit, but it's not all it's cracked up to be so I'm taking a different approach. I'm totally new to the world of weights though and no idea where to start!
-
Wow, you look great!
-
I know exactly what you're saying. Everywhere I look is conflicting information about everything (currently looking into best way to get fit and toned) and I'm easily influenced and feel like I'm chasing my tail, want to eat everything and drink a bottle of red to myself and then hide in a hole and cry!!

Hey, reigniting this thread as I want to start lifting but have no idea to start, would like some like minded friends and also inspiration! So please FR me if you are still going!
-
So, short of robbing a bank and getting a boob job, it's choosing between fit body + deflated breasts or extra weight with the boobs I know and love. :explode:
-
That really gives me hope. The reason I asked about putting a little weight back on was maybe to fill out my deflated breasts a bit before I begin to lift. Can it work like that?!
-
To be honest I wasn't fat before joining MFP, just quite unfit and very untoned. I've focused on trying to be skinny rather than fit.

Please teach me how! So how have you set your calorie goal? And what exercise do you do? Just strength like weight lifting or cardio too? I've gotten a little obsessed with watching the numbers go down. Oh this sounds like what I want, to be fit and strong, I want to stop watching the scales and tone my body! Btw I've just…

@mamahannick thank you, I was hoping someone with similar experience in the boob area would reply. The thing is, I can't decide what's worse, weighing that extra half a stone more and having the girls back to stop me feeling like crap every time I get changed or undressed, or keeping the flat tum. I'm grateful for what I…

 thanks
Get a pull up bar, do negatives if you can't do a pull up.. Goblet squat with any heavy object in your house or outside.
What are negatives? Also, what's a goblet squat? Thanks ????

Well said!

I would also say both, mixing cardio and strength is a recipe for success!
-
Maybe you could log under "cleaning"? There are a few different options under that, or something similar?
-
I agree, inches are far better to lose than weight :-)
-
As my friend on Facebook just told me, "any exercise is better than nothing so if you want to get fitter, run, and you'll get fitter"!

This is one of the articles http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-66640/What-jogging-does-body.html I can't find the other!
-
I'm not bothering now. Went for a run and felt totally turned off by MSG laden oil fest! Instead having Mexican rice and a veggie burger!
-
Not even healthy snacks? I love my mid morning Braeburn and my mid afternoon malt loaf fix!

Should say, I'm tell myself I'm not *bothered

Yes I'm in the uk and yes I agree about the weather! That's the problem with MFP (or actually, my relationship with it and with similar things) once I'm hooked, I find it hard to take a step back and relax the rules, I have gone at it all head on and I can't let anything slip by. If I go over my calories I tell myself I'm…

Thanks for this helpful reply, my main objective is to stop eating crap and five or six out of seven times it works, sometimes (especially around time of the month), I totally go off the rails but I've definitely gotten better since started MFP. I want to up my fitness levels too, which I definitely have done.

No, I'm on about chocolate and cake and biscuits - processed sugar? Refined sugar?

Same!
