Did you do cardio after your workout? If so then you won't ache as much than if you just did your stronglifts.0

First few weeks aren't that bad. Give it a while- it gets heavy fast.
I started a program the beginning of the month- my first lift was with my warm up weight- I was deeply unsatisfied with my workout- fast forward 5 weeks and I failed two lifts this week already.
Give it time. Follow the program- it will challenge you soon- that's why it's a progressive program- have faith!0 -
No, I went for a walk before but nothing after.
Ok thanks, no doubt I will be feeling the burn soon enough!0 -

Yes, this. The first few weeks are really about getting your form down before it gets really heavy. And then it'll get REALLY heavy and you just want to go back to that empty bar. :laugh:0 -
Honestly, I've not really felt sore yet, even after getting to weights where I was failing repeatedly and needed to de-load. I was doing Starting Strength - started AllPro's this week. I'd could feel it the next day, but more as an overall tired feeling in the overworked muscles, and a slight ache when stretched. It's something I've really liked so far about these types of programs.
I remember when I used to do lighter (but still not light) weights for a bazillion reps as a teenager, I'd be so sore the next day I could hardly move. Not motivating. No wonder as soon as I wasn't needing to train for performance I quit.0
