  • I'm 5'2. I'm at goal weight now - 118 lbs. Started at 165 last January. Maintaining here.
  • I bought my mom a Vivofit for Christmas. I have it synched to her laptop (no smartphone), but she really doesn't even 'need' that. I just wanted her to be able to track her steps. It may be off a bit, but it is still motivating her to go from walking prob 2,000 steps a day to walk 7,900. Tho if I had more $, I prob would…
  • I noticed when I lost weight that my horrible monthly cramps stopped, and it's not 'heavy' like it was. I'd guess it's 'normal' now, lol, def not as light as you described. I think exercise has a lot to do with it too.
  • I log lawn mowing. I have an acre, I push it, and my watch tells me I burn about 600 calories doing it. I only eat back some of the calories. Now when I used to use my riding mower, I didn't log that!
  • I plan and log my day when I get up in the morning. It's just easier that way (for me). I also log my exercise in the morning if I know what I'm going to do. Sometimes I will change a few things, but not too often.
  • I've been thinking about this too. With only 4 lbs to go, I've decided I will continue to log my calories. At least for a few months - maybe forever if need be. I log all my food in the morning when I get up. It really only takes a few minutes, and I rarely change it later (but do if I need to). Maintenance Calories are so…
  • I weigh daily. I know I will have fluctuations, and don't let it bother me. If it really bothers you though, weigh less often! Don't forget to use a Measuring tape - that can be even better than a scale! I also took pictures often - and then put them side by side with my starting pics. That really helped 'see' the changes…
  • I have two. One: I don't get sore from doing things like painting a bedroom. It used to be that I would be in pain for days after painting a room, getting up/down on a ladder, etc. Two: For some reason, my carpal tunnel has gotten MUCH better!
  • Thanks everyone - it is very exciting!
  • AMAZING. Congrats!!!
  • BUMP again. Great job all! I still love this thread. I posted my 28 lb dog food loss a few pages back (took it a few weeks ago). Took this one about 5 days ago when I had lost 33 pounds. My Boston Terrier Darwin Thomas is 33 lbs. I carry him around a lot, and always tell him how heavy he is..and now I realize..I was…
  • I'm 5'2. Start weight was 165. First goal was 135, but I still didn't feel done at 135 (and it's the high end of the BMI). My current weight is 132.8, and my goal weight is 125.. I hope I'm happy when I get there, if not, I'll probably go for 120 but no lower. 31 years old.
  • I did this a couple weeks ago when I hit the 28 lb mark. One bag of dog food!
  • Give it some time. I remember I had a few days where my love handles itched and hurt. I thought it was so weird. After it went away (a few days), I noticed that my love handles had shrunk by quite a bit!! (They are now gone, WOOO!!).. I didn't do anything about the itchies, just dealt with it lol! It hasn't happened when I…
  • Just do it! I was disgusted by my pic - that was Jan 10th at 165 lbs. Today at 140 lbs I took new pics.. The difference is amazing, even with 15 lbs to go! You will be happy you did it later!
  • I found level 2 - but it's a rental at $1.99. Prefer the freebies, LOL but I'll just pay for it!
  • I'm happy to report that I only experienced soreness on Day 2. Ever since, I've been fine! I already notice a slight difference in pics - took one day one, and took one today after my workout. I weigh myself daily, which I've done since I started my weight loss journey in Jan. The scale hasn't gone down, but it also hasn't…
  • Dropping from 5 lb weights to 3 lb weights helped a lot today. I might try the 5 lb ones next week, but we'll see. Good job everyone! Stay SHREDDED.
  • Today will be my third day. I found 3 lb weights to use. Still on a 500 cal deficit daily, so hoping I'll still lose a few pounds while doing this. I must say, I woke up today thinking I wouldn't be able to move. Not the case. I'm a little sore in the legs, but nothing like yesterday!!! I'm ready for Day 3!
  • I started yesterday. After only doing Zumba and 10k steps a day, this kicked my butt. This morning I def FELT yesterday. But, it wasn't horrible to the point I couldn't sit down..so I trudged on and did today Day 2. I def think I need to use smaller weights - I've been using my 5 lb ones, but need to dig out my 2 lb ones.…
  • I'm on level 1, day 2. I woke up this morning kind of sore, but not horribly so. Decided to do the workout today. Feeling it, for sure. I am using 5 lb weights, I think I need to dig up my 2 lb weights instead. It is a great workout, hopefully I see results. And hopefully i can walk tomorrow. LOL. I was considering doing…
  • This sounds like a great workout. I did a 15 minute 'strength' exercise video yesterday with 5 lb weights, and felt a little sore today (not overly so). I have a feeling the 30 min JM workout will kick my butt!! I do have 3 lb weights, so maybe I'll try those with the JM video. I usually do Zumba Wii a few times a week…
