Wow! Great transformation!! I also have pcos, so I completely understand how difficult it can be to lose weight AND keep it off. You look great, keep it up!

SW 184, CW 162. I am currently wearing a size 10/12 depending on the brand and M/L tops. My goal is a size 4 and S/M tops.

I bought one last week, and I think it accurately checks my heartrate. However, I have tachycardia, not sure what it is caused by, so I don't think I can trust the calories it says I burned. For example I walked for 45 minutes at approximately 2.75 mph and it estimated I burned 413 calories. I think I probably burned…

Congratulations! I think all your symptoms are common in any pregnancy, PCOS doesn't change much for you once you are pregnant. The hard part is over. That said I had bleeding during both of my first trimesters, but I didn't miscarry either time. Although my first pregnancy ended in a stillbirth, but it was unrelated to…

Yep, I'm exclusively breast feeding my 5 month old. Still trying to figure out the whole calorie thing myself. Right now I have my calories set to 1500. Send me a friend request if you want!

You look Great! Out of curiosity, how tall are you?

I have had 2 echos. The first one I was 16, pediatric cardiologist noted mild-moderate regurgitation. The second time I had to find a new cardiologist, since I was over 18, she said any leakage was trivial, and didn't think I had MVP. Although she recognized it was a condition that doesn't go away, so who knows. Prior to…

Thanks everyone for the comments, they were very helpful! I think I will start something low intensity for now.

Thanks everyone for the replies. As far as seeing a doctor, don't worry I have. At first they thought it was asthma, which I do have, but inhalers weren't helping. Pulmonologist sent me to cardiologist, because he thought he "heard something funny" as I also have mitral valve prolapse, cardiologist dismissed the problem…

My first goal is 135 because I feel like that is attainable and maintainable. I would love to be around 120 give or take, so I will reassess my goal when I get closer to that point.

They all underwent treatment and therefore testing. One was diagnosed unexplained, the other 2 premature ovarian failure. None of them exhibit the outward symptoms of PCOS either.

No one in my family has PCOS, but I have 3 aunts who had infertility and or miscarriages. I think it's like anything regarding genetics, just because one person has a certain trait doesn't mean everyone in their family will have the same trait. That being said, I really hope my daughter is never affected by PCOS,…

I'm a new mom also! Feel free to add me, so we can support each other in shedding this extra weight!

I was on metformin while TTC up until I was 14 weeks pregnant. I didn't notice any difference with it other than some digestive issues, it didn't regulate my cycles, and I didn't lose any weight with it, although I was on a pretty low dose only 1000mg. As for natural remedies, I haven't really tried much other than…

Thanks for the welcome. I completely agree with your last paragraph. Also, great advice on doing a little more each week! Good luck on becoming healthier!

Another one here with the dreaded PCOS. I am new to this but my goal is to limit my processed foods, basically eat clean, and low carb. I know many women with PCOS have had success with the paleo/primal diet, but it is too strict for me to stick with at this time. I can't speak to the ovary pain, as that is not a…

My cycles were the same way before my daughter was born coming about every 60 days. I was ovulating, although it was a weak ovulation, I ended up conceiving with the help of clomid. I hope this cycle is it for you!

I am sorry you are dealing with this right now. I know it's hard to watch other people have babies, when you have been trying with no luck. I hope your time is coming soon! Good luck in your journey!

It's not a dumb question. I have had symptoms similar to yours and been pregnant, but I have also had the same symptoms and not been pregnant. Do you know if you are ovulating? I would recommend taking a pregnancy test sooner rather than later because if you are hoping to be pregnant, and thinking you may be, the longer…
