Totally working solution, what I would have wrote too. but don't hide everything, because eventually, they'll have to embrace the concept of eating real vegetable in it's raw state.

I'm under my goal almost 100% of the time.I went over my goal maybe 3-5 times in the past 8 months, I still managed to lose 44 lbs in 8 months, of course I plateau like a muther*&%$#@. but I know if I'm stubborn enough, I will win and plateau will lose. So don't eat for the sake of eating your calories to fulfill a goal.…

Good article, lemme post it on FB...LOL

Don't just count calories, instead of eating the same stuff or just less of it will have less chance of success. because you'll always have about the same appetite after the weight loss. IMHO, I maintained the portion I eat, but just learn to eat cleaner. So stay away from caloric dense food, like carbs and sugar and oil.…

There's no such thing as old, Only if you think you are, then you are, Coming from a guy that's 48 that does Zumba 4 times a week and Kick *kitten* with ladies on th e dance floor 10-20 years younger and also 10-20 years older!

Add something calorically dense food, like chips, ice-cream or Pizza. or maybe something healthier like peanut butter? same size, calorically higher.

Yeah, I'm exactly that. What I found out for me is there are 3 things that makes you have knee pain. 1, your weight. it's like jogging with a backpack on. it's going to hurt you. 2 Your quad muscles are weak, So I rectify that by doing leg presses, I started off 90-120 lbs and now I'm pressing 330-370 lbs. I got that in…

I tried it for a year and nothing significant at all. The key is logging your intake vs output.

I'd love that remark, that means I'm doing great, and it absolutely doesn't mean that I have to adhere to the remark though.

I had a major hairloss episode in my life, because i change job and worked in a start up. it was a toxic environment and with people bickering all the time. And diet wise about an earlier post. Vegetarian and vegans is not the ultimate solution. I know vegetarian that have heart attacks because the meat substitute are…

Same thing, I looked at one picture of the side profile and saw my belly button start showing up in a XL shirt, and that's it. I scared myself! Now I occasionally hijack my wife wardrobe on workout tank top. (the more manlier ones) And it fits. Now So far 40 lbs off and 10 to go.

I do both, but the Yoga is a bit different. Look up Piyo. it's a fast pace yoga/pilates hybrid design for flexibility and strength training. i enjoyed both very much.
-
The Piyo hybrid, the same week I started doing an insanity class, session for session, I burn about the same calorie 620-650 range in both classes.
-
I'm a dude and I do Piyo, A mix pilates and Yoga strength Hybrid Strength class. I'd love it. The muscle builds are longer and leaner vs round and bulk. Cause body building target a certain set of muscle group and it doesn't show you where you are weak. Yoga, it's quickly evident that what and where are your problematic…

Just remember, it's just a class, Not a military boot camp. They don't have drill sergeants coming over and yelling at you. You progress at your own pace. Also at 59 years old, nobody expects you to move like a 21 year old now. Give your self 6 months, You'll leave some 21 year old to dust. I'm 48 and this morning I biked…
