wow! Lots of over 30s here. Anyone can add me if you'd like. 33 here, would like to have a couple more people on my newsfeed that are active. :)

I like beachbody workouts. I usually don't do a whole calendar or use shakology but I like to incorporate the videos into my fitness routine. I have had really irritating coaches contact me and ones who aren't as pushy. I have one MFP friend who is currently a coach. He isn't to pushy, has motivating things to say, and…

I just posted this in the "introduce yourself" section. I have an 11 month old, gained about 50 lbs, and have about 20 left to lose. Finally stopped breastfeeding so I can count calories again! I'll send you an add, any mommas please feel free to add me too!

I'm at 1800 per day right now. Seems realistic to me for the long term. I eat a lot of fresh foods though. Feel free to add!

Yes! You can lose your supply if you cut to drastically. My goal has been 1800/day and I've lost 40 pounds with that. Though I exclusively pump about 40 ounces/day so "they" say you burn about 20cals per ounce, that's 800 extra calories a day!

Mostly walking with little girl so far (3.5 month old). Just starting to incorporate my old DVDs back in but nothing postpartum specific. A lot of yoga DVDs and les mills combat is in my current rotation. I had a fairly easy birth so taking it slow at this point isn't really the problem it's finding the time!! I'm…

Definitely fall in this category! 2 fur babies (dachshund and border collie), 31 yo married but no kids. Anyone can feel free to add. Love to have motivating friends ;)

If you want soup with less salt I like Amy's soup (in the organic section of the grocery store). A little more pricey but they have lower sodium soups that still taste great! I love the lentil. Also.... I make my own, make a lot of crock pot whole chicken and save the necks, gizzards ect. If you use a lot of celery your…

I've always though MFPs calorie recommendations are pretty low. I set mine at 1350 daily and have been losing! MFP wants me lower ....... I really set this for my non workout days. I figure that this is supposed to be a long term change, and I truly don't think 1200 cals is sustainable. Anyways, if you would like to stay…

Lol. Hey, actually at one point you were on my friends list. I remember sharing our love of wine. I'll send you an add for later use. ;)

To patientbear: Hmmm... I think of it as a reset. I've been slowly drinking more often and it finally became a most nights sort of thing, not heavily but 2-3 drinks per night. I wanted to cut down but I thought a temporary abstinence would re-set me a little bit and at the end I could decide what my long term goals are.…

Ya, I'm more the nightly 2-3 glasses of wine person. I actually thought it would be harder than it is. So far it has been pretty easy to stick to just because I feel so much better.

Feel free to add, especially those who love to cook! Always looking for new ideas ;)

Feel free to add. In the same boat, on after a 6 month break. Welcome back! Every day is full of all new choices. :)

I have a new balance N4 pearl also. When I first got it I wore it for a full day and it seems to be pretty accurate to me. A little cheaper than some others to, about $50 on amazon. Cuter too!

I drink one or two glasses of wine about 4-5 nights a week. Stopped drinking beer and mixed drinks totally. Wine has about 100 calories a glass. What can I say, makes me relax, and supposed to be heart protective as long as you don't drink to much right?? I've lost weight and done this the whole way through.

Nevermind guys, searched in the forums for previous posts and found what I needed. :)

I thought the same thing about potassium because it always said my intake was low, but I was eating "potassium rich" foods. I don't think it's even noted on a lot of foods in the MFP dictionary. I wouldn't take a to much potassium supplementation because it's not water soluble and can cause heart issues if your levels get…

I mix it with sugar, body scrub. Lol, I don't think that's what you meant though. :)

Read Allen Carr's the easy way to quit smoking. Works!

Thanks guys, amazing stories! And Topher, I think it's pretty amazing you did a 12 mile hike BEFORE starting a fitness program!

140. My weight prior to grad school. I'm very curvy (hourglass), so that is perfect for me!

Me and my fiance have his and hers dogs. Mine is a 6 1/2 year old short haired standard dachshund. His is a 3 year old border collie. Both rescues :), both have a ton of energy!

Yoga is a fabulous muscle builder but it is something that (if you are in a proper studio) should be tailored to individual strength. Before grad school (and my weight gain) yoga was my thing. I was very fit and at a very high level. However, my instructor had to stop me several times because I am naturally very flexible…

Protein load, my breakfast is the same every morning, its about 400 calories. I cook eggs and turkey bacon ahead of time so its super fast to make. One high fiber wheat english muffin, 2 pieces of turkey bacon (I like the eating right brand from safeway), 1 egg, fried with olive oil, and about 0.8 ounces of skim mozzarella…
