Ah yeah :-( Well if you have any other all day trackers to compare total daily calories burned then that might be something else to try. Otherwise.. it looks like you have 25 pounds to go and so let the experiment begin lol :-)
-
From testing a bunch of other fitness trackers, my main concern is if its off for a workout then will the total daily calories burned be even more off for any reason over the course of a whole day? But so far only 10 calories off is VERY promising!

Great :-) Can't wait to hear :-)
-
Thanks for the review :-) Yes another former Bodymedia user here.. I'm hoping it's everything that Bodymedia was.. can't wait to here if you think so.
-
26.3 percent :-) Thanks :-)
-
What is the math equation to figure that out? I am curious about mine.

I do feel the same way as everyone.. but what makes matters worse is I zombified a good portion of my family and friends by going on the Atkins diet in high school and having success. I lost 40 pounds.. but then, like nearly all dieters, gained it back and more. It was 11 years ago but I went thru a lot of, "Wow you look…

I love all the comments here.. what also annoys me is the people who keep coming back and then leaving. I understand a good chunk of people will sign up and never return.. but there's those people that keep wrestling with knowing its the right way and they are either too scared or have like zero self control and come back…

Cool :-) Yeah people are giving great advice.. maybe also look for a new fitness program that gets you excited.. maybe Zumba? Maybe a new Beachbody DVD? I don't know what you like.. maybe rollerblades? The possbilities are endless for exciting workouts.

You didn't answer any of her questions.. I'd be interested in knowing if you use a food scale. I love mine and find it to be a MUST for being as accurate as I can be when tracking.

Congrats! and also that's awesome that a person with PCOS isn't using at as an excuse as to why they can't lose weight.
-
Okay I'm all up in this jumble here and I think it will be a while before I sort it all out unfortunately because I must be thick headed.. or all of this is actually confusing ? Anyhow the question I have is.. what counts as a non-step workout? Whether I've used the Fitbit Flex or my Charge HR, I always get steps for…

Grinning and smiling and ignoring you as a person.. ? That sounds like straight up jealously. I feel like as much as this hurts to say this.. you may have to distance yourself from this person. There are tons of people that care about you and share your interests... you just have to find them.
-
I'm sorry for getting hot tempered.. I've just seen that a lot. You go to the food tab and then to the settings link and then scroll down and make it public.
-
Why complain when you don't make your food diary public. Like we are magic faeries that have telepathy to help you. Sheesh.

Crazy thing is I was using the moving arm handles nearly the whole 20 minutes.... the Charge HR keep losing my heart rate because my arm was jiggling around .. no matter how tight I get the device this is the case. So it always loses contact and therefore heart rate isn't as accurate on that device.
-
[quote="debrakgoogins;31454266"If you are holding the stationary handles, you will have even less burn. Perhaps MFP is assuming you are using the machine exactly the way it was meant to be used - maximum leg use with maximum arm use?[/quote] Crazy thing is I was using the moving arm handles nearly the whole 20 minutes....…

It's the brand you buy that makes it taste good. I swear if you bought Reservage Organics Whey Protein Powder you'd love it. Tera's Whey is also another great tasting one. This is from someone who gagged down Jay Robb which is suppose to be the "best tasting" of course..yeah right lol Anyhow, the ones I mentioned are…

Got mine from Kohls.com on New Year's Eve.. people were too busy partying to know Kohls restocked LOL
-
Yeah this is highly ironic.. I'm currently searching through the message boards to find posts I replied to and find this LOL I'm dumb.. I just assumed there would be a link for active discussions (not just ones you started)

Yep you are looking at happy, successful by the clock eater here (1pm, 3pm, 6pm, 8pm, 10pm, and Midnight) I sometimes do other time configurations of 6 meal periods as well. I have been doing that since starting my weight loss journey two years ago. One of my many pre-weight loss problems was eating ALL THE FRICKIN TIME. I…

McDonald's LOL But if you mean "healthier cravings" that I'm currently addicted to picking up at the store: That stupid Dannon Desserts Creamery thing that tastes like bad for you cheesecake, chocolate chips.. I can actually eat (1) 15 gram serving of them without flinching for more, and these fried pickles in the frozen…

I really hate doing this but I just stuffed my face full of a serving of cooked organic green peas (they were originally frozen). No salt or butter added. I am not as bad as you, I do like to eat fresh vegetables.. sometimes..but I don't eat nearly enough and I constantly don't meet my fiber goal each day here on MFP. I…

I'm right between 5ft. 3 and 5ft. 4, 184.9 pounds. I eat between 1550-2200. So a huge range. It depends how active I am... some of those are eating back exercise calories because I am only pursuing a 1 pound a week loss at the moment. I started at 258 pounds and use to eat 1550 religiously and lost 2 to 3 pounds a week. I…

Fast food is not healthy and I'd rather not and be perfect and all but I have a food addiction which is why I got to be 127 pounds overweight in the first place. You need to learn portion control, how to satisfy yourself with a little not a lot , and how to be faithful to tracking EVERYTHING ALL THE FREAKIN TIME LOL If you…

After buying Fitbit Flex and then a Fit Bit Zip I have determined that Fit Bit sucks! lol Fitbit is a gloried pedometer. If you want a accurate calorie counting device: BodyMedia. It is equipt with skin sensors that are pretty darn accurate. I burn anywhere from 2000 to 2600 calories a day (daily life and intentional…

I don't have cheat days.. I just can't deprive myself.. did that once on the Atkin's diet.. refuse to ever do it again. For the past two years on my weight loss journey, I've been learning how to eat healthy or at least make healthier choices for meal times. That being said I do get into weird funks of eating McDonald's…

How dare you crush my dreams! HAHAHA :-)

Well said on the additional points :-)

Well because it all has to do with chance. You are healthy for the moment but doesn't guarantee you'll stay that way, especially as obese people age their chance for disease increases more than people without extra body fat. Extra body fat can signal hormonal changes on aging cells which can cause malfunction which in turn…
