  • E X A C T L Y ! ! ! I am sooooo glad MFP has ruined my life into a longer healthier one. .... and it has made calorie and nutrition so easy to follow, yet the choice of what I want to eat is always mine.
  • Congratulations on your amazing new life. You look great. It's not an easy journey but one well worth it.
  • I drink 16 - 20 glasses every day and have had up to 24 on occasion. Do I pee a lot - YES. But I think it has been a factor in keeping hydrated and my joints very lubed. Going from 375 lbs. to now 215; and from every joint in my body aching to no pain anywhere; and from especially horrible knee pain because of no cartilage…
  • Congratulations - you are on your way to a new healthy lifestyle. You are doing fantastic. I have recently gone down the road to a new lifestyle myself, and feel so fantastic! Keep up the good work - you will never regret it.
  • Looking great - you're almost there! You've done an amazing job.
  • I lost the first 150 pounds in 11 months, then another 9 more the next 3 months for a total of 159 pounds. I've been maintaining and toning the last 2 months.
  • I hope you got to do a lot of skiing while you lived there. I also got to Boyne Mountain this year to hit the slopes.
  • ^ This ^ I had plenty of dairy all throughout my loss. Oh, and I also didn't have to buy organic to be healthy - please don't believe all the hype people tell you about non-organic foods. If you like it, fine, but don't bash others who produce healthy foods that are equally nutritious.
  • Hey Billy - great to see your post here (finally got to my computer to see it!). Congratulations once again on your transformation and thanks for your awesome and inspiring friendship on here as we have made this healthy journey!
  • Congratulations! That's a tremendous achievement. Best wishes as you continue on your healthy journey.
  • Congratulations on your healthy choices and loss. I've also found a new journey to health and it feels so good. Best wishes as you reach for your final goals.

  • Nice fit. ... and I agree, THANK YOU for your service to our country!
  • Ditto!!!
  • Funny you should ask today - I had 3 Dannon Light & Fits today. A Raspberry in my Overnight Oatmeal breakfast; a blueberry in my snack Chocolate / PB2 protein smoothy; and a Raspberry Chocolate Blends with chocolate granola added. YUMmmmm!!! I normally have 1 or 2 per day. Based on my loss experience, I'd say there are no…
  • Congratulations on your amazing success! It feels so great to feel so great (and look great too!). The journey to a new healthy you is soooo worth it.
  • WOW Brian, just W O W !!!!! I though what I had lost in a year was good, but what you've done is amazingly INCREDIBLE. Glad to hear your outlook on life is so much better as well. Getting healthy in body and mind feels so good! Best wishes for continued success.
  • Thank you Bdubya! I see you have done an awesome job also, especially considering you have diabetes. For as heavy as I was, I am very fortunate to not have gotten diabetes and even my blood work was never very far off from normal. Genetics does play a lot into some of these things. Best wishes to you on your healthier…
  • Thank you. Though it was one of the Arctic Blast days we had, the skiing was so much fun. Can't wait to get back again. Have fun with your son on spring break. The snow and hills were great there.
  • Thank you! YES, I feel so much happier now. I can do so much more in life that it's hard to contain myself at times. I see you said you got off Facebook. While I haven't gone that far, i do find myself on MFP a LOT more than Facebook. Keep up the good work and best wishes on hitting your goals. You've got some handsome…
  • Thanks Diana. Congrats to you as well on your great loss. Your story is inspirational also - just proves we don't have to live in the past, but can overcome anything for a better future.
  • Looking great Ernie. I'm happy to have been your friend along the way. I used to HATE wearing ties - now I actually like them too!
  • WOW - what an amazing response to my post today ... THANK YOU ALL! It's been great looking of many of your losses and stories as well. For those of you just starting out or some who have hit a bump in the road, I will suggest something that was shared with me very early on - Take Regular Photos of yourself (my son took…
  • MsMarlaJean - I'm not sure that I am on maintenance yet. I've have upped my calories for the last month (lost another 3 lbs.!) and am still toning and seeing where I end up. My Dr. and a personal trainer I consulted with midway through my journey and again recently both think I am about where I should be.
  • Thanks - looks like you are on an incredible journey yourself.... great loss!
  • Thank you ALL!!! This is what is so great about MFP - the response from all of you is so amazing, uplifting and emotional. Keep up the good health journey everyone - WE all deserve it.
  • I started out at 375 - I consider Feb. 5, 2013 as my starting day as that's the day I began drinking only water (cut out my diet pop completely). I ate good nutritious foods and kept my protein levels high for good muscle strength. I am currently at 217 having lost 158 pounds in less than a year (lost the majority of it in…
  • Congratulations on your success! I've been on a similar path this past year so I understand the commitment it took for you to accomplish this. I encourage you to try the gym and/or working out. I had never been in a gym before Aug. 1 of this year. I love the challenge and progress I've made in lifting weights and muscle…
  • Hi. My name is Mike and I'm a recovering Dew-aholic. I used to drink TONS of Mtn. Dew. Had switched to diet about 5 years ago. I actually quit cold turkey this past Feb.6. I drink LOTS and LOTS of water and have not craved the dew since. Even when I tasted some soda a couple of months ago, it just didn't give me any…
