Thank you all for the responses. I am still debating. I have been trying to do better with tracking all of my calories on MFP. I haven't been tracking my food lately. I'm trying to get myself to do that again. I haven't worked out in about a month. We are rennovating our house right now and things are hectic here.

I am looking for a HRM mainly to have a better accuracy for how many calories burned. I am not really sure of all their uses. I am a complete novice when it comes to them.

Day 1 done. It seems to be a little easier than the 30 day shred so far. What size or dumbbells are you using? What are you logging it under for the exercise on my fitness pal.

This last month it did 21 days of 30 day shred. I let life distract me and didn't finish. I gotta make sure I don't let that happen again. Are you guys following meal plan of just the workouts?

I just finished day 1 of level 2. Wow am I sweaty. I didn't think the strength moves were too bad but man did that cardio kick my butt. 3.

I am using 3lb 5lb and 10 lb. Some exercises have more trouble with so those I do with the 3s.

Just finished day 6 level 1. 1/5 the way through it the 30 workouts. I just order Jillian Michaels body revolution. I am planning on doing it next. Has anyone done this? How does it compare to 30 day shred?

I've found that if I tell myself how far into I am I keeping myself motivated. Like as of yesterdayI was 1/10 the way through. After I workout today, day 4 level 1, I will be at 2/15 the way through.

My son LOVES his sauces especially ketchup. I have never tried to cut out tomatoes. I haven't heard that could help. I might have to try that.
