Huh, I've seen tons of vegan baking recipes on Pinterest that don't use oil. I'll watch for that though when I'm searching for new recipes.

Something I like to do when looking for new recipes is to search for vegan versions of things that I love. So if you really like peanut butter cookies, try searching "vegan peanut butter cookies" and it cuts out things like butter that are high calorie.

I see what you mean. Luckily for me I already have beans, lentils and greek yogurt are staples in my house (I live at home still) and I really enjoy. I tried fiddling with my settings today and when I set my weight loss goal to 0.5 pounds a week (as suggested by some of you) I still only get 1,340 calories a day.. that's only 140 more. It says I should lose 2.5 lbs by January 20.

I used an online calorie counter and a macro nutrient calculator (from same website) and if I did it correctly then it came up with 1,588 calories per day to lose weight. Then I calculated my macros and got: carbs: 50% - 199g a day protein: 30% - 119g a day fat: 20% - 35g a day Not sure what to do with this new info :P
