Just be sure whoever is suggesting other MEAL REPLACEMENT SHAKES to you are suggesting just that. Protein powder is not a meal replacement shake. It basically just gives you more protein for the day. I really hate it when people compare the two as they aren't in the same category.

You should also not think of this as a "diet". Think of it as the clean way of eating and the "other" way is that you were eating like crap. This weekend I ate non-clean, I feel so sick to my stomach right now and I've gained 6 pounds in a weekend. Today I'm back to my clean eating and I'm swearing to never do this again…

You will gain muscle and hopefully get rid of some of the fat as well, so it should be replaced, although I've heard some girls say their jeans didn't fit after squatting initially as it added muscle before they started losing the fat. Also must take diet into consideration as well.

Squats! Start with doing them with no weight to get your form correct then just the 45 pound bar and add 5# at a time. You will get awesome thighs (and butt).

Its true! I have dropped sizes and unfortunately gained weight lately :( but I would rather be heavy and small than bigger but lighter! Its crazy but heavy lifting does work! Congrats!!!
