I am in the exact same boat as you OP I too have been here for about a week and am down just 1 pound. yah maybe I would hope for more but slow and steady gets the job done right..... This ain't a fad diet babe we in this for life.Feel free to send me a FR if you want I try to motivate everyone.

HI xo Sure MFP is a great tool to help you get control of your eating habits, but this is only a tool. Meaning you will only get out of it what you put into it. Also make sure and find some good friends on here that you can use as a support group. Talk/chat with these ppl everyday. Commit yourself we can help.

I hear yah that is a very difficult time for most ppl. You could try drinking a BIG ol glass of Water and waiting for twenty minutes before you hit the junk food.

Perhaps these pills will help to motivate your fitness. Once you learn how to better control your cravings you won't need this supplemental crutch.

Change your Attitude! It is so important that you keep a positive frame of mind. When you stay positive and happy everything is ok. I know staying positive all the time is very difficult but remember who you are doing this for.

I agree with you to a certain extent. Yes there is no magic pill weight loss is all about burning extra calories, But some of these pills have appetite suppressors in them that curve your appetite. HELL YES sex is a work out!! especially when your fat because you are moving your body vigorously in ways that are not normal. Do you get Hot and Sweaty when ur *kitten* I know I do (sometimes). However being in shape makes sex more enjoyable, more exciting, and last longer.

Sounds great guys thanks for the help. Now that I know what it is I don't think I will spend the money on one. Even though they are great motivators I find myself most days not entering all of my activities because it will put my calories WAY WAY to high. Thanks for the help :happy:

Thanks for all the advice guys! These are the common sense answers I was looking for.I will eat a bigger afternoon snack, lol actually this makes perfect sense because I eat a morning snack to hold me over to lunch but then nothing between lunch and dinner. Thanks for the help!

Well I to started this slim in 6 plan but atm I am just doing the get it started work out ( only 2 days in). I guess I am missing the most important part though, the food plan?

As long as you are working different muscle groups from DAY to DAY you will be fine. Do a work out split like Mon chest,tris, shoulders; Tues Back Bi's and abs. ; wednesday work your lower body. Thursday start over and Sunday rest.

I hope this doesn't come across rude. Stop eating out. Eat only home prepared foods so u know exactly what is going into it. Eat Rice, asians are skinny for a reason. Meat on Sunday only. whole oats are cheap. Start a garden and start eating lots of fresh vegetables. Make sandwiches at home PB & J is also a yummy cheap…

It takes time, lots and lots of time! Sorry but you didn't gain the weight overnight so you will not lose it overnight. Consitantly track your food, keep your goal in mind and don't let yourself slip, but if you do it's not the end of the world just get up and keep going. This is hard but completly possible.
