Right there with you. I find that moving in an activity that you enjoy is the key...for example I like tennis, walking and swimming. For the times where you are doing traditional exercise having an IPOD with music that makes you MOVE is essential in my book!!!

That is a hard one. I know there are groups on here that address BINGE eating, not sure if that is what you mean. I know that when I cut out sugars for awhile ALOT of my cravings and impulses went away. It is hard and the key is to plan ahead and made sure that I had snacks and desserts on hand that I made with splenda…

I agree, I try to stick with what MFP recommends for calories..knowing that if I am extra hungry that day they are there. I also think MFP is a little too generous on how many calories burned during exercise...I need to get a HR monitor and compare to...so for now I cut in half what MFP says I burn:smile:

That is frustrating. Can you bring food with you while you work in the lab? If not you can only do the best you can do..eat what is nearby but still track it. This to shall pass:bigsmile:

I don't like stevia in my coffee or baking..bitter taste..wish I did so I use splenda for coffee and baking.

SIGH...such a controversial topic...I would love to say that eating organic sugars and honey etc is the way to go and maybe it is for a lot of people.BUT for me the calories add up too fast. UUUGGHHH, I understand where your coming from. I try to plan ahead for chain restaurants, but the sodium is ridiculous. I also go to one of my favorite stores..trader joes and they have a lot of already premade meals..so if it is in the fridge we just grab that:drinker:

I would think if you entered those numbers then that should be correct amount to start from and if you aren't seeing results make some adjustments. Well for me all I can say is DONT diet...My plan is to follow MFP calorie guidelines and MOVE:bigsmile: So far I don't feel deprived..if I want something I eat it and COUNT it. I do try to watch sodium, bread and sugar intake for other health reasons. Good Luck!
