Thank you all for the great advice. I am not sedentary by any means. I am a massage therapist so on my feet and moving all day. I am starting today with putting a lot of stuff into place :) thank you again.

No I didn't mean give up like sit on the couch and eat donuts. I was just having a pity party, and wanting to throw out the scale. Thanks for the real advice and reminders that the in betweens and abouts and almosts are probably the problem.

@Noel_57 it's called cortisol manager ( the brand is intrinsic or something similar) the naturopath had prescribed it at one point in my life. I found it again on amazon.

Ok I just went on amazon and bought a better food scale ( and something to manage stress too) :)
-
Yes to the food scale, and measuring spoons....
-
Well at least I'm not the only one!!
-
US size 14. Would be happy with a size 10

I think the most common answer is to check my accuracy... I do use a food scale but if I'm very honest I probably don't track every bite or taste while cooking....
-
Thanks for all the responses!

45 consistent days without going over. Down 4 pounds.

Beastie boys, Elle King, enur, la roux, pit bull.... I'm all over the map :)
-
30 pound is also my goal... And my 30 is super stubborn!!!
-
Me too!! I really struggle to lose weight, so I'm just hoping that a pound a week will be enough for me to keep with it!
-
That was totally me... Fruit eater on WW. I actually gained weight :)

I friend request people who are newbies asking for support. I add people who are in the same discussion groups or challenges... I tend to not say add me if you want... I just save a step and add them, they can accept or not.

I'm in! Anyone may add me as friend to see my food diary( less likely to cheat). One small snack after dinner if it falls within carb/calorie allowance.
-
I would love to join in as well. 5"8' 198... 25-30 pounds by dec will be a challenge for sure! I could use some help ideas and motivation to stick with it! I'm a serial loser of 5-7 pounds and I give up.

My hubby is a sabotager, and often makes me feel guilty for working out....however isn't it my job to not allow myself the ice cream when offered? I can only blame myself.
-
Go ahead and friend me! On the other side of the divorce and 45 pound gain. You'll make it through on top, you only have to make it one minute at a time... Soon it will be one hour at a time.... Then one day
-
Omg wow! I cannot believe someone, 3 someones would say this!!! " imagine if you had tact" " think about how great you would look if you were kind" " please live one day of my life before you share options about my weight" It is appalling to think you have to be prepared with a comeback for thoughtless people.
-
You can add me. I need people to actually look at my food diary and say whoa... No. More. Cookies. :)
-
Welcome!!! I'm in the same boat and in need of cheerleaders!!
