I figured it out. I have it set to 7,000 as my daily step goal. In the app under 'more' then 'steps' and it's set to track from my iPhone and my iPhone Daily Step goal is set to 7,000.

On the iPhone app. It's also connected to my Health settings on the iPhone as that's what I use for my step tracker.
-
When I log into my MFP app it says 7,000 up at the top. Plus if I reach 7K it tells me I met my step goals for the day.
-
I used to work for a Wellness company and we used 7,000 which is the CDC recommendation. It's what MFP uses as well. The 10,000 came from Weight Watchers.

Check out www.dailygarnish.com great vegan recipes on there.

I would have been below 1200 if I did not eat my exercise calories back.
-
To keep my old clothes fitting well!
-
Yep, you have to fuel that machine. Always eat those exercise calories back.
-
Log every bite even the tastes that you do while cooking. make sure to log every workout. Fuel your machine and log enough food to meet your goal each day. Set your goal for 1lb per week so that you can keep it off.
-
I would suggest lean protein. Check out www.dailygarnish.com for recipes that are vegetarian but which also have lean protein sources like beans and tofu. Plus you can eat things like turkey chili (makes great leftovers).

Fitting into old clothes!!!!! B)

you will not reach your goals without reaching your daily goal consistently. Make sure you log your workouts, steps etc.

I prefer body weight training (Vinyasa yoga). If I take a pilates class we use weights in there. Once in a while I will use kettlebells or weights if it's a week I can't make it to yoga classes.

I put them in my salad.

I've heard that it's also a good idea to maintain for a while once you reach your first goal before losing again. It helps your metabolism.
-
I chose my goal weight based on fitting into old clothes. I knew what weight I was when those clothes fit. For me fitting into old clothes is great motivation (it's very visual). I'm now glad that I kept those clothes since it was rewarding once I reached that size again. For the OP I would not go smaller than you've ever…

My fruit for smoothies does not tend to freeze in a solid chunk. Perhaps it's just your freezer? If they do freeze in a chunk I just drop the bag on the tile floor to break them up. :)

Make sure you log every bite (every taste) and you will be able to get on track really quickly.

Italian dressing works well.

Once per week in the morning. :)

My gym is only $35/month and comes with unlimited classes. I love my teachers and I take yoga and zumba. Totally worth the $35. I do have DVDs to do some yoga at home but really for the price my gym can't be beat. I got a special when my old gym closed.

I vote for Gold's so you can take classes.

As long as the dairy product comes from cows that are humanely raised go for it!

For me I have depression and anxiety. When I'm depressed I also have trouble with my stomach (GERD) and flare ups with that. It's very physical for me. My doctor is really great and I'm trying some new combinations of meds now. I'm hopeful that this will help. It's different for everyone but for me I have a lot of physical…

Your pack sounds great. You should check out the show 'Survivorman' if you have not yet. The more prepared the better!
