Been doing my bellydance exercise routine now for 4 days straight, 2 days to go and MFH will give me 100 sek for doing it all week.. And every week I keep it up! Woot!!! I can't think of a better incentive than money to buy makeup and false eyelashes for working out all week!7

Less appetite and more energy.
Less knee pain!15 -
I have been at my current job since March 2015. About a month or two after I started, one of the guys (call him Jeff) quit to go to another company around town.
While driving with a coworker last week, we ran into Jeff at a mini-mart. He and my coworker started chatting; after a few minutes, he looked at me quizzically and asked "Do I know you?" I responded, "yeah, I'm Mike. We worked together right before you quit last year." Jeff: "Oh, yeah. Wow, you've lost a lot of weight, man. I didn't even recognize you"
One of the happiest, most validating moments I've had in years!37 -
I'm up to the 5th notch on my Fitbit. At Christmas I could barely do up the third notch (as in I almost couldn't do it up at all). Not sure how much skinnier my wrists will get as they're already freakishly skinny compared to the rest of me, but I can do it up with the 6th notch, it's just uncomfortable after a while.
I bought some size 16 dress pants at Costco and I can do them up. They look awful, but I can do them up .19 -
Even though they hurt for days and were slightly bruised, I didn't lose my toenails after wearing the boots from hell on my recent backpacking adventure. Never again. These are the first boots/shoes I've ever worn that have bruised my toenails. Those terrible things are going in the trash!8

Went wood cutting with my husband. Haven't done that in several years. Carried many oak rounds to the truck. Best part is I never got sore and was still up for a walk that evening. And shrinking out of my smallest clothes.16

I went to the preserve this morning and for once, didn't have to set a stopping time to get to bed (I work nights and usually come afterwork).
I walked 5.23 miles in about 2 hours and only left because I was getting hungry.
It may be time to find me a bigger park!
I just did the math, and that's over 8 km! I wonder how long it would take me to walk a 10k? Hmm...12 -
I see a specialist every twelve months for various chronic conditions. Today was the day. Although clearly she has seen me each year, today we did a comparison. My latest NSV?
2007 - 99kg, waist measurement 93cm
Today - 54kg, waist measurement 71cm
It's only taken 9yrs but hey, 22cm and 45kg and I'm celebrating! And even though I've gained a kilo after having no treadmill for four weeks I didn't torture myself. It's fixed and I'm back on the program. The old me would have eaten my body weight in junk. Thank goodness she is long gone xx21 -
Mini Nsv, no longer sweating in Leslie sansone 3 mile videos; time to do something more difficult now

I was able to quickly run up the over 500 stairs at a waterfall in Costa RIca that almost killed me last time I was there. Those stairs plus all of the photos I hated being in are what started me on my diet! 40 lbs later, I'm a runner and it was EASY! Plus, I liked being in all of the pictures!24

I restarted the hundred pushups program (again...), and added in the situps, dips, and squats as well. I did them all as a circuit this morning, even with the two year old being here, there, and everywhere. I've been making her my excuse for not working out, since I "knew" she'd be in the way...but in reality, she made it more fun! I feel like I should get extra points for doing a few crunches while "flying" her up in the air! I'm kinda proud of myself for letting her see "Mama doin eskersize" instead of just sitting on the couch.22

Fantastic! You're an inspiration. I am still trying to complete a normal burpee. I can only modify. You have just offered me a little hope. Congratulations on your accomplishment!

I started training two of my coworkers today! 3 months ago I was learning how to lift and now I'm teaching others. I caught one of my coworkers looking at me during my workout and asked him what was up. He said "Damn I didn't know you were such a beast!". It felt good to realize how far I've come.13

Fitting into old clothes!!!!!9

Sorry I have another one! I couldn't mind my usual pair of Jean shorts so input on my tight pair and was stoked to find that they are no longer tight. I'm guessing the ones I couldn't find probably are too loose now10

I've been living in lulu lemon crop yoga pants since none of my work trousers fit. I was wearing a size 8 and they were starting to get too big and the seams kept turning toward the outside of my legs. Went to my local consignment shop hoping to find a size 6 but all they had was a 4. Although I'm only down about 5 pounds since buying the size 8, the size 4 actually fit... And they were only $27.00. They're tight, but they fit.9

For the first time in I don't know how long (9+years??) I am comfortable wearing shorts. ACTUAL shorts, not Bermuda shorts or capris, but shorts, like 4" inseam. A true NSV since the scale has been stagnant for months, but all those squats and lunges thru the winter sure changed my legs

Ok I just jogged for 1.5 miles!! I did 1 mile then walked for about a third of a mile then I jogged for another half mile! It took about 30 minutes altogether cuz I walked for another half mile to finish out two miles. I have not been able to run for more than 2-5 minutes in like 10 years!!27

Too funny. All my dresses and skirts are longer. Lovely and weird.9 -
We are moving (again) and my daughter purged her closet and dropped a really chic size 8 skort on my bed. I took a look and said "No way that's gonna fit." Well, I actually tried it on and got it buttoned up. I would not be caught dead in it just yet but later on that little skort will probably fit me!! Woo hoo!20

Hubby prodded various bones he can now feel, and said "Your body is definitely changing!"
A friend I haven't seen since November said "What did you do to get so tiny?!" I could not possibly be called 'tiny' (and never will be), but I guess the almost-30lbs I've dropped so far was more noticeable than I'd thought!

Congrats! I had been wearing capris in the past couple summers also and was able to buy some actual regular shorts. I can see the muscle definition in my legs!6 -
Oh! I'm also excited that I can wear tank tops and sleeveless dresses and am proud of the definition in my arms. I was worried that wouldn't return. But it did!14

Five co-workers all packed into a 13 Ford Escape for a brief meeting across town, two in front, three in back (one of the being me), -- and for the first time since forever I didn't feel like the awkward fat woman that everyone else had to accommodate. :-)28

I am in week 7 of Couch to 5K. Since I have been running slowly, I realized that although I am close to the end of the program, I am nowhere near reaching 5K (I always opted for running for the allotted time rather than distance). So I have decided to go for more distance every day, regardless of how long it takes. The program is called "Couch to 5K" not "Couch to 30 minutes"! I want to finish the program by reaching the goal distance.
So today I jogged for 2 miles instead of the 1.6 that I would have gone in 25 minutes! It took about 32 minutes.
I think I can see the home stretch.29
