Wow. That seems like a lot even after dividing into servings.

I wish I did. May try googling it. Will let you know if I find anything.

Looking forward to trying this! Thanks for sharing :)

Love Trader Joe's :) Here are a few things I like... Chipotle Hummus Honey Chevre Cheese Sweet Potato Tater Tots Smooth Blend coffee Cocoa Almond Spread (healthy version of nutella) strawberry vanilla greek yogurt

That's what I thought when I first heard of this recipe. All I could think about was guacamole covered in chocolate :) It's funny, I invited my neighbor over to try it and guess the secret ingredient, and she couldn't. Neither could anyone in my family. Topped with fresh berries would make it that much better. Let me know…

I'm about 4 months out of a hyster (davinci) and am doing well. The recovery was challenging, but it is nice to be free of the pre-hyster pain. Take recovery easy for the first few weeks in order to heal well the first time. I gradually began walking the 2nd week, though very slightly adding time each week. My body let me…

The thing that matters most here, really, is the safety of the child/children. Period. With the Penn State situation being fresh in all of our minds, I would venture to say that you're more at risk of being sued if you say nothing when you knew something.

I can't say with 100% certainty (maybe someone reading might know), but I don't think you can be held liable for information that you know is true. A warning based on what happened in the past, especially in this situation, would be warranted, imo. A former teacher, there were two times DEFACS had to be notified of…

If you were the parent of these children, would you want to be warned?

Applause. Have seen this thread go from a good, healthy debate to condescension.

No intention of irritation. Just trying to lighten the mood a bit. Sorry for the offence.

Let's skip the shoulder rubbing and instead of chocolate frogs, a nice, big juicy steak.

Sammie, Well done on the 50 pounds! I've been off MFP for about a year now after losing 17 pounds (lost my determination and motivation during a recurrence of chronic illness) and have just recently started back on my original plan. The first thing I noticed after logging on was your picture and how much you've changed in…

I don't think that about those who are sent to war. My point is exactly as I stated; nothing more.

Wed 07/11/12 10:28 AM I thought this was a 'friendly' debate site... Calling someone an idiot for her beliefs is character defining, in my opinion, as is using WIC when you drive a nice car with nice clothes and jewelry. Sell the car and get a cheaper one, sell the jewelry (aside from the sentimental), and consign your…

Great suggestion, Mike523. Making my menu public was difficult at first, but it did make me feel more accountable, thus making me think before eating. It was what I needed in the beginning.

My husband and I always blamed ourselves for our son's addictions, depleted our savings to get him help, exhausted every form of rehab/counsel available in our community, and in the end still blamed ourselves. He was 17. We couldn't physically keep him home, and it broke our hearts watching him walk out the door knowing…

I'm in the same boat, which is why I became serious about my health back in January. My hdl was 39, although my total level was in normal range. There are lots of books, websites, and even cookbooks out there to help on your journey. Best of luck and much success! Feel free to friend me if you want to.

I've been thinking about investing in a dehydrator from Walmart and making my own. I love figs sliced thin and dehydrated :)

That's good advice.

low carb tortilla spread with hummus, fill it with fresh spinach

What about moving to the elliptical for the time being? I found that it helped the swelling and pain.

I'd spritz the other half with a little lemon and keep it in a baggie til the next day. It's a good fat, but too much of a good thing... I love them, too, and treat myself to fresh guacamole once a week.
