Starting weight 2 Jan. 91.3 kg Current weight. 87.2 = 9 lbs Goal weight by Easter 82.1 (20 lbs) My ultimate goal is to lose another 25 kg, but since I am also weight training, I might have to go more on body size, since I'm changing shape and losing inches/body fat

Thanks for that - just checked it out and there's an event in London - whuhooooo! - - Our first ever Zombies, Run! Live Event will be on Friday 30th Jan at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London! It's completely free, you'll get the chance to meet creators and actors from Zombies, Run!, plus you can take part in special…

I wish I could say the same - you both have lost your weight and gained it back - but I've never managed to lose it, and have been trying to lose my 70lbs now for 6 years. BUT this year I'm determined to get fit and healthy, so I'm eating for nutrition and am back here on MFP and at the gym as of the past week. This group…

I'm just starting out, but what the heck, I can walk it. It will be interesting to see improvements in the following months

Hi girls I'm on my 5th day back here and am really keen to regain fitness and my fit figure back - I love WATP plus Jillian Michaels, although I'm just not fit enough for her yet. I have about 70 lbs to lose and am eating nutritionally dense foods which is simply clean eating. I'm very young at heart and prepared to…

I do, probably have about 70 to lose, so THIS is my year to get fit and healthy, then maintain it. This has been a huge work in progress, I've gradually been cleaning up my diet, building up to big lifestyle changes, and this is my second day back at MFP. Am loving the changes with this site, so looking forward to seeing…

Wonderful transformation, and truly inspirational - congratulations on your fantastic success, and thank you so much for sharing! Hugs

I was given the FitBit One as a gift in March! Didn't have a clue what it was, but I can honestly say that it's totally changed my thinking and really has made me move so much more. It syncs seamlessly with MFP and I also use it to keep an eye on my TDEE. I don't have to log any activity - I wear it every day - and there…

Count me in, too  I'm in London, England, if it affects your teams in any way.

At your service!!! NOW that you've given me permission  But, seriously, I'm really happy to support you.

Hi! my stats are roughly similar; but yours are better than mine, haha. I'm 5'3 (used to be 5 4!), I'm also at an all time high of 201 lbs and despite lots of effort and motivation, I don't lose weight easily. Didn't have a weight problem until I hit 35 and since then, it seems that the more I try to lose, the bigger I…

I'm just into Week 2, as well. Think it's too early to tell; I feel like I can run for longer (but probably can't, haha) but I'm really enjoying it, purely for entertainment factor! I'm really not bothered about being able to run great distances as I'm currently reading about the benefits of HIIT, which is exactly what…

Hi, all, you gorgeous people!!! I think this is a great idea for a group. Today, I think I need it! Let me explain... I'm constantly told how attractive I am, that I have a great body, that I'm very sexy, and, in some ways, I do feel all of those things. Thank goodness I'm one of those eternally optimistic types.... the…

I'm exactly the same shape and have had chunky legs all my life, even when I was also 'underweight' for my height, at 114 lbs -I'm 5'4. I can tell you for sure that when you're pear shaped, your legs are the last place the fat goes from...we lose it from the head down! Apple shapes tend to lose it more from their slimmer…

I want to thank you for posting, too. I bought the kindle edition of the book (couldn't get a hardcopy!!! - I'm in the UK - so it's been confusing to work out exactly what I'm supposed to be doing, as I'm unfamiliar with the terminology and am a complete beginner. I used a personal trainer a few years back, but he didn't…

Absolutely love your amazing success story! Your transformation is stunning, as are you. Thank you so much for sharing. I just started the New Rules of Weight Lifting for Women this week and WOW, what a great workout! Very inspiring, I'm taking lots of pictures, too,

The key to dealing with any addiction is to think about the consequences of your actions. Ask yourself this question 'how will I feel in 2 hours if I eat this (whatever it is you're thinking about!) because the chances are, you may well regret what you are about to eat! Think about it; eating something that you know is…

Thanks for that, guys, I had the same question. I started out eating TDEE -15% last week and wasn't quite sure whether I should be eating back the exercise cals - am glad that I didn't (actually don't think that I could, because it seems so much food) but I was a bit confused about the variance. Happy bunny now

Hi, I'm new to this, but on the Eat More 2 Lose Weight group, they recommended this calculator; http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/#projectedweightloss

I love kettlebells, too. Must dig them out, haven't used them in a while
-
That's exactly what I was thinking, too, Brad. But Kris, if you've lost 2 inches off and been doing all that cardio you must have lost body fat and gained some muscle... have you calculated this? Am also wondering if you've been working anaerobically with the intense cardio, but I'm new to this. However, I've been reading…

Wonderful story, thanks so much for sharing. It's very inspirational indeed :) I've just started the couch to 5k program and reading your story has really motivated me to continue. Hugs

I'm curious, too. But I'm just starting out and still reading New Rules of Lifting.....
-
I'd be very interested, too. Just starting out, but my FitBit is out of sync now with the adjusted goals on MFP! And I'm still not sure whether I should be eating the exercise calories back or not....
-
I'm just starting out and would love to join your group, too. Please send an invite :) Many thanks

I smiled at your post - but you are definitely not alone!! Heck, I used to teach aerobics and can still get confused with them, especially the dance type! But here's a suggestion that I found great to start out with - only 4 basic moves, in a small space! Check out the Lesley Sansone Walk Away the Pounds dvds - she has…

I've just noticed that your ticker says 32lbs To Go, so you're practically at the half way point, aren't you? Here's something which might spur you on: have you ever heard of the 'kitchen roll' theory? When you have a brand new kitchen roll, and you take off one sheet, it hardly shows. Now imagine that each sheet of…
