I am a night nurse and work either 3 12s or 4 12s in a row. When I am up, thats my day- so I eat. I get up at 5pm, eat (which I log as dinner) Have a snack around 9pm. Then my new day starts at 0000. I eat "breakfast" at 0100, and at 0600 I eat a quick "lunch." I go home and am asleep by 0800. Then up at 1700 and eating…

You are experiencing what everyone does for the first time with P90X. People pick up this set and do it for a reason, and its not because they are in shape. Keep it up, it will pay off and eventually you will be able to do more.

oh gross! You need to add fruit to it, canned pineapple (no sugar added) or some jam/jelly to it. honey will sweeten it up too. Have you tried Greek yogurt? Not yoplait tho- too much added sugar.

I have also been reading about it. It is similar to the Atkins diet, except you eat low fat in addition to low carbs. I agree that it is not a realistic lifestyle choice. If you are curious about it, try eating low carbs for a few days <100 and see how you like it. I tried it out and its way harder than you think.

I almost bought a NB monitor with a strap at COSTCO, but thought- "Really? A strap while I am working out?" Looks like I was wrong- I will be buying that one! Thanks so much!

Sounds like "light" activity. Especially, if you are consistent with the walking, crunches, and body combat class. If you aren't.... sedentary.

I work nights, so breakfast is now and was a 3oz garlic lime chicken breast and corn on the cob! Yummm....

Caffeine increases your metabolism, so its actually good to have a cup. The sugar free crap is not good, its all garbage that increase the amount of free radicals in your body. Caffeine is also a diuretic, so be sure to drink lots of water.

try trail mix and nuts. 3tbsp typically has 150-190 calories. if you go below 1200calories, your body will go into starvation mode which is going to not help your weight loss goal.
