• Kind of the same boat. Held my ground on gaining over the summer, but just barely.
• Right here, right here. I'm working on the first novel in what looks like is going to be a series of butch-hero romances if anyone wants to volunteer to beta read.
• Awesome. Thanks so much! I've already got the washers ready to do smaller increases, so I'll go on to that. My bench is still pretty good. Rows are going to be the next stall I think. Good to know that I'm still on track.
• I'll hit 48 next month, so getting there.
• I was back up to 178 this morning, but I think it's just a fluctuation. It was much better yesterday. Also, after completing week two of 5x5, I can feel more firm arms, thighs, and glutes.

• I'm also checking in on this thread because I just started the 5x5s. I'm on day 7 and keeping up fine so far. I was a little intimidated by the 65 pound barbell row start, but then I found out I could do it, so I'll just keep going and see where I max out. It's by far the most challenging lift for me so far. Interesting…
• Yes, we did talk at that Pride. It was fun to see her but we didn't have much in common anymore. I didn't have the massive crush on her that you did with yours. She was just sort of my "gateway" woman back in the day. Heh.

• Oh, and I saw her at a Pride festival about five years ago, which would have been 20+ years post-college.

• Not only do I remember her, I remember the conversation we had. We'd met at a college party and left to go get Krystal food. Her: I'd like to get to know you better. Me: Sure. [Interior voice: I thought that's what we were doing now.] Her: No, I'd like to get to know you better. Me: Um. Okay. Her: J, I'm a lesbian.…

• I'm going to my first DragonCon this year. Even though I'm based in Atlanta, sad to say I've never been. I do love watching the parade, though.

• It's amazing how much better you can feel from just finding out what the hell is going on with yourself and getting grounded. See you in September!

• Down to 175 this morning. I would have to look up my start weight in other threads. Main exercise is farm chores, but I can vouch for hauling a large garbage can full of goat **** in a garden cart down a hill and pulling the empty can and wagon back up to qualify as cardio. New goal: Eat dinner around 6:30, not 9:00 p.m.
• Former top, current switch, but mostly inactive as far as actual play goes these days. Previously poly, but focusing on my primary relationship now. Coincidentally, I was thinking on my drive in to work that I need to donate my St. Andrews Cross to a leather charity for auction or something because I never use it any more.

• I, too, feel like my head weighs twice as much as it normally does due to extra fluids and swelling. We have three red-zone pollen days coming up next this week with tomorrow's forecast for 2,920. God help us.
• I'm switching to my more crappy home scale so that I can do my weigh-in before I shower in the morning instead of at work in clothes on the more fancy scale, so this doesn't represent a completely accurate picture, but ... SW: 189.6 CW: 180 ChallengeGW: 159.6 LongtermGW: 135-140
• Excellent recap of the broscience experience. As a rule, I wouldn't eat anything packaged in a NASCAR theme. Probably cutting sugar down and upping protein a little plus strength training will do wonders for your gut and moobs.
• Kristy McNichol in "Family."
• I'm going to use Friday's weigh-in from my Fitness Challenge. There are construction guys at the office blocking the doorway to the room with the digital scale I use. So that's 183.8. Down 5.8 pounds for April, and I won 2nd place in the fitness challenge ($50!).
• I'm going to get new glasses after our fitness challenge is done (next week). I haven't had my eyes checked in 3 years, and it's been something I've put off because new glasses can be so expensive.
• I found an electrical wire in a vacuum sealed package of Luzianne coffee once.
• I don't ever buy smoothies, so I don't know what you're used to. What I make starts with raw goat milk (3/4 c.), a carrot, a cup of raw fresh spinach, and then I sweeten it with two or three different frozen fruits. When fruits are in season, we'll buy a bunch when it's on sale, wash or dice and then freeze them. That's…

• We got our own goats last spring, including one milking doe, and I haven't had any milk except raw milk since then. Love it. It's great when I need something to help me satisfy hunger cravings. It really helps me on my no-sugar diet with the lactose satisfying those cravings. As long as you're sure of your source (healthy…

• Cmeirun, I'm so with you on happily waving goodbye to the boobs (when that happens, if ever). Though I wouldn't say I'd ever considered that I have chest dysphoria, these tits have been nothing but in my way my whole life. The transmasculine description fits me quite well. I'm comfortable with she/her, but it doesn't…
• My massage therapist recommends Epsom Salts baths when you know you're in for some soreness. It has really helped me before. You can also try Arnica. http://www.umm.edu/altmed/articles/arnica-000222.htm You can get it at Whole Foods.
• I'm up .4 this week, but I'm not too worried. I weighed later than usual this morning, after a lot of coffee, because I had to stay home and milk and thus got to work late. I feel like I'm sort of in flux in my training. My stair climbing program will finish in three weeks. Today I'm tasked with climbing 50 floors. Friday…
• I also tried Zombies Run for the first time yesterday. Coincidentally, the training course I was already in progress with called for 20 minutes of walk 2 minutes/run 3 minutes, which corresponded really nicely with the story/music split of RZ. When the first run started, and the radio operator said, "Run. Run!" I took off…
• Fantastic victory! Additional ones come easier now.
