Yes, very non-competitive. I just hope the temps cool down by Sept.

Painless pickup at Best Buy, and the DVD is under $10. I'm a little concerned that there are only two workouts, which means the boredom factor could play in. It's meant to be done six days, and I typically run three days, so I might just do Leslie on 3 or 4 and have running be my sole exercise on the other days. I have a…

The BIG test will come when I go out for a run after it rains, which makes the bugs especially vicious. It was raining every evening, but now we're suddenly in a little dry spell, so I'll update when I finally get in a post-rain run.

Can I join in even if I'm doing my own adaptation? I went halfway through C25K and then switched to doing 5K distancewise in each session while working to improve my time. I injured my ankle, which put a temporary crimp in things, but I walked 5K yesterday and will try a run tomorrow to get back in the swing of things. I'm…

I, too, plan to do Chalean when I'm done with JMBR. I'm behind w/Jillian because C25K has taken priority, but I had some great toning with JMBR. I can actually see that my clothes are getting a little tighter since I've slacked off, even though I'm not going up in pounds. I see Chalean more as a way to refine the toning…

22 more to go (three miles each on 7/8 and 7/10).
-
I'm approaching (gasp!) 50! Definitely don't feel like it, though, and would love other "oldsters" as friends, especially those who are kids trapped in a darned aging body.

Three more down tonight, which means 25 more to go.

I wonder if it's the same management company that recently fired a lifeguard at the beach over here for leaving his post to assist with a (rescued) drowning victim. There were others to cover the area, but he still got fired for using his own judgment and leaving his spot. Lifeguard got tons of job offers, management…

It's the family friendly thing that makes me equate the two. Disney will make you turn a t-shirt inside out or change it completely for things they deem questionable even when Universal, right down the street, will just wave you in. That's why their liberal water park attitude surprises me.
-
That's the odd thing here. All the news stories I've seen specifically say she was banned for her bottom, not her top. Not that I'm shocked either way because the Disney water parks attract a lot of people from other countries with much more...er, liberal ideas of "appropriate swimwear," so I'm used to seeing much more…

I just saw it more as amusing, given that people ask her about whether they're bikini ready and how they look in their new swim suit. I can just see everyone here saying "Go for it!" and suddenly the poor soul is busted. I recently bought one myself, but no chance I'll get pegged as showing too much skin with it unless…

Even if it's a thong, you'd think Missouri would live up to its reputation as the Show Me State. A thong is the worst I could imagine, and they're very common here. She says others had on the same type of swimwear, but they were younger hard bodies.

3 more down yesterday so 28 to go.

I might be the exception to the rule, but I absolutely love almond milk and prefer it to cow milk for almost everything. The only thing I don't like it in is coffee, where I absolutely must have half and half. I didn't like soy milk, and I can tolerate coconut milk. Haven't tried rice milk yet, although the ice cream made…

I'd like to join too. I need to get it ordered this week. I was going to start it after Jillian but might start early w/the group if I get my butt in gear and order it in time.
-
Wow, that's fast! Did you order through a coach or directly from Beach Body?
-
Added four more miles today, so 31 to go. Walked to the fireworks downtown to avoid traffic.

I haven't had a big binge in forever, but many, many years ago my dinner would be a small deep dish pizza and a pint of Baskin Robbins ice cream. I'd down it all without thinking twice. I also once went out to eat with a friend, and after a meal at one restaurant, we went immediately to have a meal at another. Can't even…

Well, yeah, they work like any other drink or program would if you're depriving yourself for calories. Why does someone need to pay for an overpriced shake to do that? Make your own way cheaper, or just adjust your diet, and get your support here. Oh, but wait, that doesn't line the MLM pockets...

For those who have been ordering it, is it shipping fast?

Goal: 40 July 2: 2 miles at Legoland July 4 3 miles (well, a little more since it was 5K) 35 to go! I might rack up more walking to the fireworks tonight. Traffic is too crazy to drive. I know Leslie's new DVDs don't come out till August, but I'm watching at Target in case they show up early.
-
1/3 of a container of Ben & Jerry's Everything But The... ice cream yesterday. Somehow I just had a major urge to splurge. I don't see what I do as "dieting," though, so nothing is forbidden. The bad thing wasn't eating it but that I wasn't able to get out for a run to work it off.
-
Good for you! You've started, so that means you're a running now. I never thought I'd be one myself, but now I actually look forward to my runs. Are you planning to sign up for a 5K run? I signed up for two this fall to act as more motivation. Feel free to add me!

Great review! I like the sound of that burn. I haven't ordered it yet but am really leaning toward it. I need something to give me a good burn in a short period of time. JMBR is pretty good for that, but sounds like this is even better.

Was this guy with her?

Casting Crowns is my favorite, but I also like MercyMe, Third Day, TobyMac, and quite a few others.
-
I'm probably no help because I love Punjab style Indian and go for the really decadent goodness. My favorite is mushroom methi malai, which is hard to find but oh so wonderful. You're doing good by skipping the mango lassi. I love naan, so I started eating my food without the basmati rice and with just the naan. Our local…

I was giving her the benefit of the doubt until I read the court evaluator's opinion. Although, to be fair, the judge was the one who screwed up by totally disregarding that and awarding custody to the mother. I don't know the extent of her mental health issues, but if it was readily apparent to the evaluator that she was…
