  • I have a 7 year old, a 2 year old, and a husband. We all eat the same thing at the same time. That doesn't mean my children are on a diet, it means my whole family eats healthy and I am able to portion control to meet my calorie goals.
  • Wake up 15 minutes earlier than you typically do and cook a proper breakfast. It really doesn't take much more than that. If you want it bad enough, you will make it happen.
  • I based it off of this recipe, but don't like ham, so we subbed bacon: http://paleonewbie.com/ham-broccoli-sweet-potato-paleo-frittata-recipe/
  • Sweet potato, bacon, and broccoli frittata with a side of asparagus and Earl Grey tea :)
  • I'm 5'7" - I've lost 92 lbs so far, and have 33 lbs to go :)
  • Hi everyone! I started MFP at 275 pounds with a goal weight of around 150. Out of that 125 pounds, I've lost a little over 90 so far and have just under 35 to go. I would be happy to offer support to anyone who needs it, but I must warn you that I WILL read your food diary and I'll give it to you straight if you are…
  • Walnuts contain fats that are essential for proper heart and brain function. Embrace fat. It is better for you that you have been led to believe.
  • I eat clean and always wish more of my friends had open diaries! I will send a request :)
  • Banana Bread Cookies! 2 ripe bananas (mashed) 1-1 1/2 cups rolled oats 1/4 cup chopped pecans Mix everything together and bake at 350 for 12-15 mins. Will make 24 tablespoon-sized cookies. 2 cookies = 1 serving and comes in at less than 100 calories

  • I'm 5'7" which I think is average (maybe a little on the tall side?), and my husband is 6'2". Since getting married two years ago he has lost a little over 100 pounds and I've lost about 90. I only have 35 to go until I hit my goal weight! Anyway, we eat clean, which is how we lost all the weight (mixed with exercise, of…
  • Hi msdutter :) I'm 27, married with two kids, terrified of cats, and I'm currently learning to grow my own food. I started at 275lbs and right now I'm down to 184 (over the course of two years). I am very body positive and straight forward as well. Please feel free to add me!
  • My family and I have been eating clean for about a year now and my husband and I have lost a combined weight of about 190 pounds. We make everything from scratch and we eat THE BEST FOOD! I couldn't imagine going back to flavorless pre-packaged foods. Feel free to add me!
  • I'm in Wisconsin, but you can never have too many supportive MFP pals! Feel free to add me :)
  • Hello from Wisconsin as well! I'm not a native though, I'm a Sconnie by marriage, but I love it here. :) I've lost about 90 pounds so far and have around 35ish to go. Feel free to add me! Also, congratulations on making such big changes! If you have the strength to become sober and quit smoking, you have the strength do…
  • Hello everyone! I'm married with a 7 year-old stepdaughter and an almost 2 year-old son. I've lost 90 pounds so far and have 35 to go until I hit my goal weight! :D
  • My issue isn't with who is right or wrong. Put whatever you want in your body, because it won't effect me the least bit. But bullying people for what they DON'T put in their bodies is asinine. Just be nice to people.
  • Then take your own advice and please stop bullying people.
  • My family and I stopped eating white (processed) sugar about a year ago and haven't looked back since. We love natural sugars like fruit, raw honey, and pure maple syrup but we let the processed stuff go completely. We made the change for health reasons other than weight loss, but losing over 190 pounds (between my husband…
  • Hi everyone. I'm not new to MFP, but recently came back to it after a long break. I continued to lose weight without MFP, but have hit a plateau and wanted to start logging my food again in hopes of breaking through. I've lost 90 lbs so far (started at 275 and currently at 184) and I'm about 35 lbs from my goal weight.…
  • I make mine slightly different. I use one ripe banana and two egg whites. It lowers the calories and cholesterol levels. I also like add in's- sometimes I add flax seed, chia seed, a scoop of protein powder, peanut butter, etc. I normally top with warm peaches or a blueberry/strawberry compote that I made.
  • I have a four month old. I gained 13 lbs during pregnancy and have lost 55 lbs in the past 3 months (the first month of his life, I lived in the NICU next to his isolette). Just like these other moms, I understand tired. But I remind myself that I'm not just doing this for me. I'm doing it for him too. I want my son to be…
  • I have keloids all over my upper arms/back/and shoulders. If I wear a tank top, complete strangers grab at me to figure out "what's wrong" with me. It takes all my strength to hold my tongue. It took me years to be corageous enough to even wear sleeveless shirts in public because people are so damn rude.
  • I agree with finding healthier solutions. These are my go-to snacks: Salty: Air popped pop corn Sweet: Fruit, cinnamon almond raisin bran with soy milk Chocolate: Protein bar, kashi dark chocolate mocha bars, Special K crisps (chocolate or chocolate caramel) Ice cream: Frozen greek yogurt, chocolate pudding, blended up…
  • Try switching up your exercise routine. Start strength training a couple of days per week. Also, have you taken measurements? Are you maybe losing inches rather than pounds?
  • I'm not paleo, I'm vegetarian, but the paleo diet is primarily based on cutting out processed foods. It is sometimes referred to as "the caveman diet" because you eat what would have been accessible to people prior to modern farming and bulk food production. You eat natural whole foods such as organic meats and seasonal…
  • No one's trying to flirt with you.
