  • Tell me about it:) I do okay at work, but once I get home I want to eat everything:) Nice to meet you. Feel free to add me. Somedays I'm a little sarcastic. Today I logged in 50,000 calories just to see what it would say I would weigh in 5 weeks. It was a bit scary.
  • I am 63. Feel free to add me if you'd like. You are just a spring chicken in my book:):)
  • Anyone can add me if they wish. I am back on mfp for the 3rd time. I lose the weight and then within about a year some of it is back. My motivation starts lacking in about 4 months into the logging of food. Nice to meet you.
  • Greetings! I was scolded from my daughter to drink more water. I tend to get dehydrated easily. So now I make it a habit to drink 2 cups of water before every meal. Not only does it help in limiting my food intake, but I also feel a lot better. Drinking water at room temp is easier than cold water for me. I hope you make…
  • Losing 12 pounds in 2 weeks is rather extreme. If I lose even 2 pounds in a week I feel weak and dizzy. Maybe aiming for a goal of 1 to 1 and a half pounds a week would be better. Keeping the weight off once you lose it is always a challenge for me too. It never comes back quickly, but say over a couple of years. I'm a lot…
  • Hello. This is my third time here. I usually lose the weight in about 4 months and then slowly yet gradually gain some of it back. So here I am again, nice to meet you and feel free to add me if you would like.
  • I agree totally. Snacking has always been my downfall. If I fast between meals, I accomplish my goals. It seems like a little taste of food between meals always makes me want more and more and more. It doesn't matter what size meal I eat, if I nibble, I want more. So fasting between meals works very well for me.
  • Every day is a challenge for all of us for one reason or another. You came back to mfp, so I'm happy for your decision to make it work again. And it will work again. Faith in your self is very important. Don't be discouraged for any setbacks, we all have them. Every last one of us. Glad to meet you. Cheers!
  • Water guru:) I like that. I drink room temp water, it seems to go down easier for me. Whenever I want to grab for some salty snack I drink 2 cups of water first, that usually tames the craving. I end up drinking close to 10 cups of water daily, simply from drinking water before every meal and when I want to snack. Works…
  • What works for me is everytime I think I am hungry, I drink 2 cups of water, fast. I wait, and usually it takes the hunger trigger away. Then before I eat anything, I drink 2 cups of water. Yes, I visit the restroom often, but it works for me, especially on the weekends.
  • I wouldn't worry about not hitting your calorie limit exactly. I really don't believe it is necessary to be exact. Aim for an average if you can. Some days I don't log in everything, and I find I am still losing weight.
  • Welcome to mfp. I'm from the states, but am up early. I hope you have a pleasant experience here. I know logging in my food intake makes me more aware of how many calories I am really eating. It makes me more accountable. Have a good day!
  • Soy nuts, endemame, raisins, mix together and make a trail mix. Tastes good and has plenty of protein. Hummus is good too.
  • Welcome! This is my 3rd time here. I lose the weight, then it has a way of creeping back. Logging one's food intake is a real eye opener. I am a 'grazer' of sorts. I like to nibble. So logging all of my eats help me be accountable.
  • Hello. I'm back on here for the 3rd time. Hopefully this time I'll stick to it. While I log, I'm fine. I lose weight, keep it off for months, then WHAM . The weight creeps back on. Feel free to add me. You are a spring chicken compared to me:)
  • Hello, please feel free to add me. This is my 3rd time here. First two times were successful, but then I decided I like food....a lot. So here I am again. Nice to meet you.
  • Hi, this is my 3rd time on mfp. Lost weight both other times, even reached my goal weight. But, didn't keep it up and now I am back to my starting weight again. Add me as a friend if you wish. Friends help keep me on track.
  • Good Morning. I just read your blog. You seem like you have a good head on your shoulders and I would very much like to be added as your friend. This is my 3rd time on mfp, and hopefully this time I can keep off the weight. Nice to meet you :)
  • Hello, you sure can add me if you wish. This is my second time here and hopefully I can be as successful this time.
  • Hello, I am not over 70 but I am 60, is that acceptable?
  • Nice to meet you and would like to join you in your journey. I know, I'm the grandma type, because I am a grandma 10 times over. :) Add me if you wish. I like friends.
  • Hello, I am not your age, but would like to be part of your support group. The way I look at it, the more supporting each other, the better. Glad to meet you.
  • Hello. Glad to meet you. I'm back for the second time. I lost the weight, met some really nice people, but then decided I could do it by myself and found out that without the support and accountability of logging food, I gained some of it back. Maintaining is my goal. Add me if you wish.
  • Good morning! I am not familiar with the book, but I love to read and I will see if I can get the book on my kindle. I, too, need accountability. Would enjoy being your friend. I have about 20 pounds to lose. Add me as a buddy if you wish. I was on this site last year, did well, went off the site and gained weight back.…
  • Please add me for a friend if you wish:smile:
  • Hi, I may not make many fans by this comment, but here it is. Sometimes when we hit a plateau, one way to jump start things again is to go on a semi fast...for ONE day only. Drink plenty of fluids, have calories in some of the drinks.. but actually feel hungry when you go to bed. It works for me. I'm old...and years and…
  • Hi, you can add me if you would like. This is my second time with mfp. It works and I would enjoy being a buddy.
  • Please add me if you'd like. I lost 15 pounds using this site and then took a couple weeks break. I have 10 more pounds to lose and would like some pals to get to my goal.
  • Yes! I am up for a challenge. I tried starting a thread a few days ago about a challenge and no one replied. So here I am. Please add me.
  • Hello. Glad to meet you. 53? I'm 59 and I don't care what people think of my age. The word 'friend' is used without much thought on this site. A true friend doesn't criticize, a true friend wants to know how your day has been going. A true friend doesn't really care what your diet plan is, what you weigh or how you look.…
