  • HI Califabi2012 I understand your confusion but it is really not as tricky as it seems. Do one set of 5-10 exercises twice a week. Each exercise is 1½ repetition i.e. 1 Negative - 1 positive - 1 Negative. If you for example do pushup(s) then you start up in plank, then go down (30 seconds) - go up (30 seconds) and then…
  • If you sometimes go to France I can recommend to pay Carrefour a visit. They have some very tasty cookies which are high on protein and low on carb and AT THE SAME time actually don't cost a lot. Not that cookies should be a regular everyday treat but every now and than it is nice to enjoy a few to a coffee :-) and if you…
  • If one want to reduce carb intake and at the same time increase protein intake (in order to get sufficient kcal) the protein have to come from somewhere...agree? I don't know by you, but personally I don't find any pleasure in eating a can of tuna, a chicken filet or any other high protein food as a snack at work, so a…
  • Cannot remember if I told you before....but stick to HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) when you do cardio (unless you are commuting :-) When I use my cross trainer I only do HIIT and when I eventually take the dog for a run....I do HIIT as well. HIIT jump starts your metabolism and keeps it burning for 48 hours. Not…

  • Have you tried the (new) Legér Protein Bread from Migros? It is really tasty and the numbers per 100 g. are like this: Energy: 266 kcal. Protein: 27 g. Carb.: 7g. ---> WOW!! Fat 12 g. Fiber: 11 g. CHF 4,50 for 400 gram. Look for the blue Legér bag in the bread section.
  • HIIT - High Intensity Interval Training. Google is you friend if you search on the above. HIIT will kick your metabolism into overdrive.

  • Well....let's not get into the topic of "Swiss prices" That is indeed a sad story. I have bought a lot from Iherb and they offer great prices and fast shipping. If you use this referral Code: DUW669 I think you will get some discount but I am not sure how much though.

  • Expensive: true. Extremely low calorie content: Nah......not really. Adds up to approx. 430 kcal. Maybe eating half would be an option?

  • 2400IU is per capsule. If it was for the bottle it would be only 20IU per capsule. I read in your previous post that you "... take 25'000 IU once a month in one single dose..." No I am confused as you just wrote that 2400IU is way too much at once...??

  • I guess you can find oat meal in normal grocery stores like Coop, Migros, Denner etc. I have not shopped for it myself yet though.....I just took what I found in the kitchen. Protein powder you can get in SportX, Migros, Ochsner. However....I donøt like the Sponser one....not very tasty. I use this one for the pancakes:…
  • Thanks a lot for the trail-tip. I don't visit that part particular of Switzerland too often but now I have another reason to do so. I guess it is a MTB trail right? I mostly do tours on my road bike as I use it for commuting too. Cheers. Lars

  • Thanks for sharing your experience. My own experience is pretty much similar. A lot of exercise (at a steady pace) and nothing happened on the weight loss side. It was not until I changed the way I worked out and I started to really focus (not just eat lean and hold back nasty food) that things finally shifted. My max…
