Hey, I used to be raw vegan. I managed an entire year (although I planned for life). I eat anything now (apart from sugar and haggis, lols). So if you have any questions then feel free to ask.

I agree with eating more veg.Maybe also try out cycling kcal. It kind of makes it easier to eat fewer kcal some days rather then every day. Good luck.

Wow, you look amazing! Your curves are so gorgeous!!!

I would like to know whether they also accounted for muscle mass lost because that is quite typical on drastic diets. And that would explain very nicely why two people at the same weight can have a different TDEE- if one has high and the other low muscle mass. And that means that you can increase your TDEE by doing…

Oh wow, your post really made me laugh. of course it's good to watch what you're eating but it's also good to actually understand what's in there . Not everything that has a chemical name is dangerous. Every protein has a name that 'you' won't recognise. Trypsinogen and carboxypeptidases are not dangerous. hehe. They are…

I know ppl say that you can't spot reduce fat but when I do crunches every day for 2 weeks but tummy is usually a lot flatter. Should work the same with love handles, I'd think.

Thanks for the advice. I did check out the website and it's really good, I think.

Oh, I feel so sorry for you, darling. No person deserves that and it's especially hard as you're at such a vulnerable stage of your development. Kudos for taking it very well. I think you're already doing an amazing job. I would hardly be able to cope with what you're going through. Could you see your situation as the very…

Well done, girl! You're an amazing role model!

Nuuuuts.

Yep, I'm from Berlin (living in the UK though).

More dried fruits? Also, a lot of exotic fruits are fairly high in kcal such as mango. And it's so yummy, too.

Wow, you're amazing, women! Well done!!

I have done water fasting for 7 days a couple of times. The first time was great because I did it for health reasons (stomach ulcer). It gave me a great sense of accomplishment and confidence. It gave me times of great clarity and self-reflection. I suppose all this is partly what you are looking for, too. Unfortunately,…

Wow, that's amazing in such a short time. I like your consistent effort. It's so impressive that you achieved that despite having many kids. Wow!

Jeez , my eyes nearly fell out. You are amazing, girl!!!

Thanks vingogly. It's interesting to hear your experience about it,. I am often tired and I hardly ever reach my fat goals. So maybe there is a link. I shall try out nuts for snacks next week. Hopefully they will fill me up.

Thanks everyone for your answers (I just rediscovered my post, hehe). I don't know why my profile showed I have 50kg to loose. 50kg is my goal weight and I started at 57 kg so 1200kcal per day is ok. At the moment I discovered yoghurt with some sweetener and berries as my ideal afternoon snack, might change to some veggies…

When I lost a couple of pounds my cousin was so astonished and she was like' oh finally you look good. before you were quite chubby. still had all that baby weight. but finally you look good'. I was a normal weight before that: 57 kg at 5'3. It was so hurtful to say that at a normal weight range ppl consider me chubby.…

I totally agree with what has been written above. 1. Confidence is a major thing and once you start working on it you will have a lot less negative emotions to deal with. 2. Remember that nobody and no situation can make you feel unhappy. It is only yourself who can do that. So you have the power to change your own…

I live in Cambridge. Feel free to add me ;)

thanks so much for posting this. I just started lifting so I'm finding it very helpful :)

I read that the sweet taste of sweeteners makes your body anticipate food, secreting digestive enzymes in response and that makes you hungrier. And also some ppl keep on craving sweet stuff. I still take sweeteners (though I avoid aspartame) because it's still better than large amounts of sugar. Maybe you will just have to…

Thanks so much for sharing. What a good reminder. Not just for weight loss and being healthy but for many other things in life, too!

I'm in.

I second the above comment. Personally, I find it's best if I go swimming just before I go to bed. If I go in the morning or before dinner I am ravenous ;)

oh and also, how heavy are the dumbells?

Hey, is the entire video 90 min long? I found one post on youtube and was thinking I could use that rather than buying the DVD. I just wanted to know whether it is the same. And also, when would I start level 2 and 3? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a0LhEadpTLo
