I'm 5'8.5", and currently 175lbs. I've been as low as 158 and I was slim but not skinny then. I'd like to try for 150lbs this time and then see how I look at that.

I also have a busy and sometimes stressful desk based job, and am trying hard to break the habit of sitting in front of a screen all hours of the day and night. Even if it's walking the dogs for 10 minutes. I've also bought the 30 Day Shred DVD. I think I can at least make 20 minutes in my day to work-out, and the results…

I am around your height, and it does take a good while before you'll really start to notice a big difference. I think you won't be far away now though. I lost about 36 pounds before, and it was around 25 that people really started to say "WOW - Look how much weight you've lost!!" On the up-side, a couple of pounds put back…

My boyfriend is overweight, and has been verging on obese if you go only by his BMI. In reality, he just lifts a lot of weights, and has a very muscular build with very little fat. That's a good example of why BMI shouldn't be taken as gospel.

I've lost 6lbs since re-starting my weight loss, and this morning I definitely noticed my jeans fitting better around the hips and waist. I know from past experience that because I am quite tall (5'9") it takes a while for a big physical difference to show.
