Can you provide more details? How long have you been at it? How many calories are you consuming? What is your net calorie deficit? How accurately are you tracking your intake, are you using a kitchen/food scale?

I always lift first. I do this so that I have the energy to make sure that I can hold form on my lifts. Whatever I have left for energy after I lift goes into cardio.

You might be suffering from caffeine withdrawal. Green tea is a healthy substitute that has a little caffeine to take the edge off of those headaches. Also drink plenty of water.

I am usually sore for 1-2 days after. The best way to handle this is to split up your routine. Do legs one day, upper body the next and stretch another. This way you can still workout while the muscles you worked before are still sore and recovering. Also eat more protein, it will help with recovery.

You can set you goal at your TDEE - 20% and then add the lifting calories burned under cardio. I set my goal to my base non exercise calories then add my exercise calories back.

Feel free to add me. I am essentially doing a recomp. in 11 months I have lost 20 pounds of fat and gained 4.5 pounds of muscle. I get periodic DEXA scans to test body comp.

If i consume too much aspartame i get migraines. Some people tolerate it better than others. I just try to avoid artificial sweeteners and my progress seems to go better.

Are you tracking everything that you are eating, or do you snack without logging? A few treats here and there may seem harmless, but they really can add up. I bought a food scale and weigh everything. I was shocked by how much I overestimated serving sizes, and therefore my calorie intake.

I add flavor by using different spices. 1)Curry 2)cayenne pepper & chiplote pepper 3) Lemon pepper and garlic. All with a little butter and salt.
