I gained a similar amount of weight due to Fibro medication. I have been managing to slowrly lose the weight by using MFP to keep track of my intake and a FitBit Flex to determine my exercise calories. I can't do anything high impact so just leave the FitBit walking calories as my exoercise calories with no other…

We can't see your diary to comment properly on this.

I put Kale in smoothies a lot as well as in soups. Because it often takes me longer to work through it than it stays fresh I chop some of mine up and bag it up in the freezer. I add it to vegetable stir fry and have it thinly sliced in salads.

Welcome back and good luck in your journey. x

In the Friends tile on FitBit it gives you your friends average daily step count and total daily step count for the last 7 days, I've not had mine for 7 days yet so my figure isn't accurate yet. They are ranked according to the total steps in the last 7 days. :D If you pass someone you can taunt them, if they pass you you…

Go to the webpage links people have posted, they are our FitBit Profiles and there is a add friend button on them. If you go to your own FitBit profile your public link is shown at the top. Hope that helps.

I haven't heard anything yet. I always cook with sunflower oil and use olive oil for salad dressings etc.

An injury and being unable to return to work causing a dramatic drop in exercise levels coupled with medication that causes extremely fast weight gain started the spiral for me. Going from being extremely active to being unable to do anything for quite a while takes its toll unfortunately.

I got my navel pierced 14 years ago, I've only ever used barbell styles never a ring. I had it done by the same professional who designed and applied my first tattoo. Slightly uncomfortable for the first few days when waistbands etc were rubbing the area but after that settled down I have hardly ever noticed it. If you…

I have fibromyalgia. My weight gain was caused by the medication I was prescribed shortly after diagnosis, I have now convinced my Doctor that it was doing more harm than good and changed to other medication that is working better for me. Everyone is different though and what works for me may not work for your sister. I am…

I just block people spamming me trying to get me to buy anything, this isn't a market place. I don't even reply to them at all. Insanity is a great workout, my friend uses it, but on medical advice some of us aren't allowed to. Everyone's bodies and health issues are different, we all have to find workouts that challenge…

Been there and I understand that sometimes when you find yourself stuck in a rut it can seem like there's no way out of it. Whenever I find myself in a situation like that I write down how I'm feeling and why on a fresh note page in my diary. I accept what has happened and then draw a line under it. Then on the next page I…

Now sitting thinking about steamed green beans and brocolli. Yum. :D

I love most vegetables, especially when they are homegrown. One of my favourite ways to cook them at the moment is to cook diced Swede/Turnip in the Act-Fry with some rosemary infused sunflower oil. Hardly any oil required and I usually add extra rosemary in to the mix as well. Melt in the mouth and full of flavour. :D Dry…

I weigh in most days, in the morning. Only because I am trying to find out if certain foods are causing fluid retention, I would normally weigh in twice a week.

Kidney patients have to be careful not to have too high a potassium intake. Beyond that I don't know. x
