  • I have done Combat and loved it. I wasn't eating too great so didn't lose a lot but if you follow the diet you should see awesome results. The HIIT workouts are great fat burners. Right now I am watching my diet and I and in week 6 of a combat hybid with Les Mills Pump and it is even better. Combat has great trainers that…
  • I am right there with you. My 40th is in April and I have about the same to loose. Feel free to add me, since none of the people I have as friends are even logging in anymore. I can help motivate you and I am sure you can help me.
  • This is great info. I started a weight training/cardio kickboxing program 5 weeks ago and have lost very little, but I am determined to keep it up. Hopefully the scale starts moving down or the clothes start getting looser.
  • I am going to try this. I have been slowly introducing new cauliflower dishes into my husbands diet and he seems to be ok most of the time with it even though he doesn't like cauliflower. This may be flavorful enough to be ok for him.
  • I have the same problem and living in AZ (where I grew up) I just got used to wearing pants in really hot weather. I tend to where capris and longer skirts and dresses. I also don't see a problem with your legs, but I understand because I have the same issue. I build muscle really easy in my legs and they just get bigger…
  • I started Aug 31, 2013. I tried it before in Dec 2012 but didn't see results so quit after 4 weeks. I am trying it again and am determined to finish the whole program. So far it is going well and I am oairing it with a healthier diet this time.
  • I started Insanity on Aug 31st, but just found this group. Height 5'1" Starting weight: 155.8 lb I took measurements but not right at the beginning, so tracking my jean size (starting at sz 12) Goal is to actually complete the program and fit back into my skinnier clothes and feel comfortable again. Wouldn't mind being 125…
  • Glad I found this. I have been skipping these and doing regualr girly pushups. I think I will try to see if I can do more than one next time.
  • I am just finishing up my 2nd week. I also have a love hate relationship, but I am starting to like it even more. Don't stop after the first week no mater how much you hate it. It really does change you.
  • 5' 1" and my goal weight is 127 now, but ultimately I would love to be in the low 120's if I can maintain it. I have 27 lbs to go.
  • I am 5' 1" and 154. I had gotten to 127 and it was nice, but ultimate goal is back down to low 120's. Anyone can add me since I need the motivation. Also I agree about someone saying small weight changes really make a bit difference on shorter frames.
  • Wow you look great! That is so motivating for me since I started at about the same weight and have the same goals.
  • You are not alone. I am not sure even Shaun T can get though the whole workout without stopping since he is always going around to everyone else. I am starting week 2 today and I am really happy to hear (1) that I should take measurements, which I will do today (I had only taken the picture and weighed myself) and (2) that…
  • I think it actually tastes better since it mixes better. I used in on top of zucchini cakes last week and loved the flavor.
  • Awesome! I have that sitting next to the TV and your pictures give me some great motivation to get started on them. I think I'll start on May 1st.
  • I do look them up if I can and know ahead of time. At chain restuarants I ask for the nutritional facts since they are required to provide them (like Cheesecake factory or Outback). Never shared it with the wait staff though. I have at times also asked for substitutions liek steamed veggies over sides of potatos and most…
  • Great job! You give me motivation. Sounds like you are the same height as me and I started about the same as you, but haven't seen 120's without serious work in quite a few years. I think when I get close and get stuck at the lower end of the 130's instead of severe calorie restriction, I'll follow your example and just…
  • I also haven't found the dress I want. I wanted a non-white dress that I can continue to wear after the wedding (and on the honeymoon) and was wondering how the dress maker thing worked. Do you know how long it takes or how much it costs generally?
  • My first half was a bit over 3 hours, but I had to stop for about 7 minutes to wait for a portapotty at mile 9 and then had to do a lot of weaving in between people. My phone said I actually ran 13.5 miles vice the 13.1. I also was recoveringin from a cold for the week previous and hadn't really ran more than 8 miles total…
  • Thank you all so much for pointing this out. I have yo-yo dieted for so many years and I am sure I have screwed up my metabolism, but I think I really need to up my calories. My BMR is 1330 and I burn about 400-600 cal in my workouts (sometimes more) and I was never eating back my calories since I figured that was the…
  • Hi all. I'm getting married end of Aug/Sept (we haven't finalized the date since it's in Vegas) and really want to get back to the weight I was when we started dating so I need to drop about 30 lbs. I think it's possible, but it will be tough. I hope to keep it off too. Really just want to look good in my bikini on the…

  • Wow I guess I should up my calories. I have been trying to keep them between 1200 and 1400 and my net after exercise has been under 1000, and sometimes as low as 100-200 depending on the amount of exercise I do. I have lost about 1-1.5 lbs each week for the last 3 weeks, but am tired all the time. I don't feel like I'm…
  • I agree with nuts, but I would specifically add some almonds which would give you about 200 calories. I would also add maybe 100 calories more each to breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the form extra vegetable for about half and then maybe extra protein and carbs to the other half. Skip the sweets though.
