If you want to get back in to exercise, find something you like doing and set the time aside. That way it is something enjoyable rather than a chore. I had to mix mine up recently since I get bored and stopped exercising as much. Also I agree to think of it as improving health and not decreasing weight (that can be a side…

Kickboxing is my favorite cardio, but I do elliptical sometimes when I just want to watch a TV show while doing it.

You can friend me. I just started eating like this in the last month, but I really like it. It was tough to add that much fat, but I know its the good-for-you kind.

I am all for correcting, but some people can do it in a more supportive way (and some on here did) but there were others that were not as supportive. I see it through all the message boards on here.

Also as far as the person that didn't lose weight (that originally inspired you to post this), maybe they didn't have much to lose, maybe they were already eating semi-paleo, and they may not have been eating a deficit or exercising to create one. They also may have been eating too few calories (which if you follow the…

You seem to have gotten a lot of negative response from this post unfortunately. People tend to be less nice when it is digital. Anyhow I just started the 21 DSD on Jan 26th because my cravings were out of control after the holidays and I wanted to re-train my body to crave more healthy food. I have not done this…

Hi. I had to stop about the day you started due to injury on day 2 of week 6. I went to the ortho doc on Friday and took this weekend easy, but I am getting back into Max Cardio tonight (week 6 day 3). The second month is when it gets really insane. I have never finished the second month without hurting myself, so modify…

Really liking Insanity this time around and think I can stick with it. By using my own music it isn't nearly as monotonus as before. Had to double up Plyo Cario Circuit with Recovery last night since I was too busy painting the deck to get Plyo done on Monday. Won't do that again though. My legs were toast. Only 2 more…

I am in the middle of week 2 and have tried Insanity before, but never finished and didn't follow healthy eating so really didn't see results I wanted. I will do my measurements/weight after I complete week 2 (and every time a fit test comes up). I am starting to get used to it and liking it better when I turn the volume…

Completed week 1 and just in time. I got called in to work 12 hr back shift (5:30pm-5:30am) even though I am normally a day shift person (7:30am-4pm). Hope I can keep up the energy to start week 2 on Saturday. Can't quit this early. Love reading everyone's progress and seeing results.

Hi all, I just started Insanity on 9/27 so I am on Day 5 (Pure Cardio) tonight. I am like others where I started before but never finished. I also wasn't following the diet plan before so not happy with results. Anyhow I am following the diet so far (I will be modifying with my own food after I get the hang of it in a…

If you are following the diet in the book and it calls for the protein then it should be included. I would input it and see if the macros for each meal work out to be about the same as the meals in the included Insanity meal plan. I am starting Insanity in a little over 2 weeks and have started looking at those meals and…

Afternoon or early evening for me. I tried mornings but like others I just can't make myself get up any earlier than I already have to for work. I did morning in college, but then I didn't have class till about 9am so it wasn't too early.

I am on day 72, but I plan on staying with it for this full 100 days on top of what I started with. I saw someone that had 1000 days and that would be great, but I will start with this 100 days to begin with.

I can't even imagine how much fun a "twerking" fitness class would be. I think I might burn a ton of calories just laughing. I am continuing to log everyday even though it wasn't the healthiest food this weekend. I am back to healthier stuff this week. Also read an article that said low-carb diets are the way to go so I…

I also gained weight I lost when I started dating my SO. It happens. I had the same problem with my husband bring treats and asked him to stop bringing tempting food into the house. He did that for me. I know he still eats crap sometimes, but I can't control him. I have been working really hard and he has lost weight just…

Love reading everyones posts! I also had pizza and beer yesterday, but made it at home (pizza), so I was able to control the calories a bit. Even though I would normall have half the pizza I only had a quarter and save the other quarter for my lunch today (my husband eats the other half but he even only had 3/4 and save a…

Have fun with Combat, I am doing that right now and love it. You don't really need weighted gloves. In fact I would start out without them and try them once to see if you can keep your form up. You can injure yourself using them if you don't have the right form for the punches. That being said if you want a pair for men, I…

LOL, I have watched my husband eat a huge bowl of ice cream while I eat fruit or a much smaller portion. I just took pictures as part of my workout routine at the beginning of the week, but I think it will be interesting to see evidence of all my hard work and everyone else's. Love the facebook group idea by the way.

One of my favorite dinners is stuffed pork chops. I get them butterflied at the store. I grill up some apples and mix in goat or gorgonzola cheese (both are a bit strong, but the flavor is great). Then stuff the mixture in the chop and close with a toothpick. Bake them in the oven according to directions to cook any…

I'll join you. I have been doing good for 66 days not and was aiming for 90, but I think doing another 100 would be perfect way to keep me motivated. I agree with inputting good or bad. It really helps to input that I ate 3 cupcakes when I look back I know to not do that and it is how I got where I am. I am aiming to lose…

I would recommend investing in a heart rate monitor for the most accurate count. I have the Polar FT7, but the FT4 is a bit cheaper and works just as well. Not as many bells and whistles though. If that is not in your budget, I would say go with the machine, but understand it may over or underestimate. I think my…

Been there as well, in fact I had to put the scale in the closet to keep myself from weighing daily. I never wanted to weigh myself except first thing in the morning though since I know it was higher in the evening. I just took a break for 3 weeks and I didn't even think about it, until today. It does really affect your…

You can add me. My diary is public and I like to look at what others eat for new ideas as well.

SEAHAWKS! Go 12th man!

I generally have a protein smoothie and a cup of coffee. I use Sun Warrior Warrior Blend Vanilla vegan protein powder and mix it with frozen fruit (strawberries or pears recently) and almond milk, ice, and some water. I add some flax seed and today I started adding egg whites to up my protein since I couldn't get enough in…

Thank everyone. I will weigh the food and double check the labels. I think I have the calories right but it doesn't hurt to check. I guess I will keep up with what I have been doing.

I need support as well and love supporting others. Add me.

I have made my diary public now so people can look and offer suggestions. I am limiting my fat based on the fat percentages that are provided by MFP. Thanks for the input though. I guess as long as I eat the "good fat" I can increase it. Hopefully increasing will help with the weight loss since it is coming off very slow…

I have done Combat and loved it. I wasn't eating too great so didn't lose a lot but if you follow the diet you should see awesome results. The HIIT workouts are great fat burners. Right now I am watching my diet and I and in week 6 of a combat hybid with Les Mills Pump and it is even better. Combat has great trainers that…
