2 bulging discs, 1 herniated one that I had to have surgery for (and a portion of that disc had broken off entirely and was pressing on a nerve, making me unable to feel my right leg/foot until after surgery -- which was a year ago now), and Spondylitis. MRI showed my back is riddled with arthritis. Does your gym have a…

Honest to god I wondered the same thing! It wouldn't surprise me if it turns out that Jessie is the abuser and not the abused. After all -- abusers tend to appear very positive and like great people to anyone who doesn't TRULY know them. And that definitely is more her than him at this point. I don't know! And yes if they…

She doesn't want to be but yeah, I agree. She's doomed to be dealing with children. Hopefully Sam isn't as screwed up as Lizzie, though.

I think Carol is at that point where "kill them before they hurt/kill us" is the only option left.

That dude's lucky he was there with Glenn and not with Rick, because Rick would have just put a bullet in his head without batting an eyelash. Kinda wish Rick had been the one there, honestly. And Gabriel..wtf? Way to plant doubt in Alexandria's leader's mind -- which will now be followed up by finding out her son was…

YES.

Hang in there, OP. You can do this. Don't get discouraged. It takes a lot of time!

I'm alternating days. I do Jillian's one day, then my treadmill the next. Also tossing in some yoga and swim classes at the gym. Still on the beginner's phase. Hope that helps!

Personally I'm a fan of shredded mini wheats -- it's got fiber and iron which I desperately need, and it tastes good too!
-
Aqua zumba is awesome. SO much fun. It's probably my favorite exercise!
-
It really just depends on how hungry I am each day. Exercise actually seems to help curb my appetite a bit so on days I work out I eat less than I do on days I don't work out!

I just finished day four of level one, but good luck!

God, I don't know. I should set up some kind of reward system because that's always been a great motivator for me, but right now and even reading all these great ideas...I'm scratching my head! Haha. Great thread idea!

Yeah definitely agree -- protein on weight lifting days. Don't worry. You'll figure it out!

Welcome! You can do it! If you want to friend me, feel free! :)

I do like breakfast cereal, even if I only eat it on occasion at night. Might have to shift my calories around to allow for a bowl a night. And yes to everything else. I love all of those things!

Seconding the question about taking measurements. The scales for me haven't moved in about three weeks, but I've lost several inches off my waist and one off my arms. :)

It's definitely an ongoing process, and stress makes everything harder. Hang in there, don't give up. Think of it as a marathon and not a sprint. You can do it!

As you can see, OP, it's a bit controversial. :P So really it's kind of up to you to make up your mind -- you could try not drinking it for awhile and see how you feel or you can keep drinking it. I've never cared for diet soda but that's just my taste buds.
-
Nope, not necessary. I just like them and use them as a meal supplement for breakfast after a workout!
-
Sounds like you're already doing what'll get you there! Just stick with it and eat at a deficit and you'll do just fine! Congrats on the upcoming wedding, btw.

Hey there, Batman. What kinds of activities and exercise do you like doing is probably the best place to start. I started with walking because it's easy and didn't require any extra money. But really there's a ton of options! It all depends on what you want to try!

The first time I logged it as aerobics -- low impact. Someone else recommended logging it as "circuit training -- general." So that's what I'm going with. The calorie burn from it seems exceptionally high to me, so I'm cautious about that part! Hope that helps.

Same with me! I'm less sore after day 2 than I was after day 1. I found Icy Hot helps a lot with muscle soreness!

Fantastic! That's amazing. Good for you!
