That's what I thought. Just making sure. Thanks!

Standard spoonful as in what you put at your placemat for dinner.

The only serious medical issue that would effect weight loss and/or gain would be IBS.

My BMR is 2053 and my TDEE is 2463.

I make a lot of my food from scratch. The foods I buy at the store tend to have 5 ingredients or less in them, such as Kerrygold Butter, which has 3 ingredients.

Ironically I not only used MFP, but also google to make sure my selections are accurate. I'm starting to think that I'm not eating as much as I should since fitbit usually gives me another 200-300 calories more than what I eat in a day.

That's discouraging considering I've been on the same 3-4 pound weight range for the last 2 or 3 months.

One more thing to add. I've been following the 1400-1500 calories a day and allow one day where I can have an bigger meal than normal because I do know my body tends to lose more if I do that once a week. Why is it I can have a caloric deficit and still not lose anything and then eat more than normal and lose weight?

I would decide to make a competition out of it and see how much louder I can be than her.

I've read everything you've read. To be honest, it's a personal decision based on what you can handle. Why not experiment with each and every one of those points of views and find out which one works for you?

Ummm...I know I have some, just no idea what kind.....lol so much for that indulgence.

I have a fit bit one. I love having it. The fit bit one tracks sleep, steps, calories, floors, and distance....same with the flex. The one stays on your hip. Disadvantage of the one: falls out of case occasionally. The flex on the other hand goes on your wrist like a watch. The flex is also waterproof, which means you can…

Well aren't you a spoil sport. I say go for it, especially girls.

It probably depends on your body type.

The issue is that I don't like the number on the scale....LOL

The aerobic system I'm using is one that my gym offers and retests as often as I would like. It measures oxygen levels to tell how much fat, calories, sugar, etc. that you're using in each "zone". There are 5 zones. I can tell which zone I'm in by my heart rate. I've essentially burned fat without dropping…

I currently have a Garmin, which links with my gym's cardio point computer program that tells me what and how much fat, cals, etc. I'm burning during exercise. With the Polar, some gyms it'll link with their treadmills.

I think I'm going to like MFP better than WW too. I like having my fitbit adjust my caloric intake for me and for free none the less! Which is way better than having WW calculate points values for me for $5/month. I also like seeing the pie chart to break down sugar, protein, and fat for me too.

Thx for all the welcomes!

Thank you so much! Btw, I'm not looking to create too much of a deficit...mainly because I know my body well enough to know that I would feel too hungry. Fitbit has added about 1300 calories for me today.
