  • Sorry for such a late reply. I don't get notifications for some reason. I was told first hand in a presentation by the formulator. It's mentioned in the report and white papers from the formulator, Don, as well. If you'd like to private message me, I can send you a link. It's not my intention to "sell" on this thread so I…
  • Shake FX is non GMO, sugar free, and Gluten free among other great things. Message me and I can send you a sample. Read more at http://fitfocus.getbodyfx.com/shake-fx/
  • I can work out on my own, but when doing certain exercises, once I start getting to a point, I don't push myself further. A good trainer will push you those extra 2 reps. They will also create workouts for you that vary every week so you don't get bored with the same thing. While expensive, they can be well with the money…
  • I only use MFP for my food entries. The body media will record all your activity and port it over to here on MFP. If you have any off body time, you will adjust it over at the BMF site. :-). I hope that helps.
  • I had one back a few years. I liked it. Once we had kids, and lost the extra room in the house, we had to sell it. We didn't have the one that chuck Norris pushes, but a model or two above that.
  • I had the magic bullet for over 2 years. Used it for all my smoothies, spinach, fruits, protein powder, etc. it did a decent job. Would still have a couple chunks that wouldn't make it through a straw. I was very satisfied with it. It finally died. I decided to get the nutribullet as its replacement. WOW!!! Instant liquid…
  • I did WW for a short time online. I need more structure. I use MFP to log, but I have a fitorbit.com account and a trainer sets up a workout plan and meal plan for me every week. I love that more and it's the structure I need to stay on track.
  • FitBook. Www.getfitbook.com.
  • I get one from kungaloosh.com. It's called mint chocolate chip. They have all sorts of delicious favors of tea. Everything you can imagine!
  • BOTH! Your podiatrist will help you heal your foot and find a solution that works for you. You've been walking around funny and throwing everything else off. You need to have a chiro adjust your neck, back, hips....maybe knees and ankles from all the stress you put on them walking funny while trying to alleviate your pain.…
  • All great advice above! I have battled PF for a couple years and found out last year I had heel spurs as well. I have more of an extreme case though. Do the stretches. See a foot doctor and get xrayed and go from there. Your doctor will guide you from there. There's lots of different therapies. Shots, cortisone, other…
  • I keep it all indoors although I do like to go sledding with the kids. Running up the hills in the snow is a pretty good workout. I play tennis year round normally. I belong to a health club that has indoor courts along with many other fitness classes to keep me moving and lifting. Right now, I'm not doing too much. I just…
  • Never taken it myself. Just had a friend on Facebook post that side effects sent her to the ER today. She's been on it for about a week and a half. Not cool. I'd steer clear!

  • That's leisure cycling. Although you are working fairly hard, and the hills do suck...Mountain biking is like trail riding. Dirt trails, and hard to maneuver hills, dips, turns.
  • I add them to my smoothies. I like all these other ideas and can't wait to try. I've used chia seeds for a couple years now. No tummy problems. And yes, don't forget to floss. Lol
  • I am going to try this. It makes most sense to me. My BMR is 1682. I shouldn't have to enter too many exercises manually since I wear my Fitbit. The ultimate goal is to be green min 500 - max 1000 per day. Correct?
  • All I can say is ewwww. I get sweaty enough down there, I don't need hot pants to make it worse. Kwim
  • I second the cast iron type. I forgot about those silly medicine ball ones. And yes. Heavier on the weight. Ladies shouldn't go lighter than 15lbs. 18 is ideal. Anything lighter is a waste...even for a beginner. Also, buy a good video that give proper form instruction. Stay away from Jillian Michaels for this. I like her…
  • Larger round handle is better than the more square handles. Circumference of handle should be comfortable and smooth.
  • I go once or twice a week. Neck and lower back pains. I am lucky that our insurance covers it. I would marry my chiropractor if I wasn't married and he wasn't. Lol he's a miracle worker!
  • I had one when we were between children. Can't say that I gained weight or not as I was obese already and had a very poor diet. It was uncomfortable to insert. I was extra creamy for a couple days, but then did not feel it at all. My periods went from regular to light to non existent. I was a bit *****y, but I can't pin…
  • I just looked at mine. Not sure which number you need but this is on the back 31 coded N2965 I hope that helps. I also have the FT40
  • Yes. She uses very poor form and no instruction on proper form with kettlebells. You can injure your shoulder or back if you don't use good form. Her 30 day shred (original) is great, but her kettlebell workout sucks.
  • Fitbit Gym membership Jackie Warner's book Kettlebells There are so many more, but these were my key components that fit together nicely.
  • Try kettlebells. But a real kettlebell workout not Jillian who uses poor form that can hurt yourself. There a couple that come to mind and can be found on Amazon. RKS Workout, but is kind of expensive, but it's 16 different workouts. Lauren Brooks has a couple geared towards beginner. You shouldn't go lighter than 15 or 18…
  • A great book that will put it in word you can understand, and guide you through the process it Jackie Warner's "This is Why Your Fat (and how to get thin forever)." Its helped me tremendously to understand my own physiology and start on the right path. It's not that expensive through amazon or NOOk either.
  • I have an FT40, but can answer your questions. Yes, you need the chest strap. That's what transmits your HR to the watch. Yes, if you want to download your info to the computer (polar's online account) for tracking, you need the polar link. I love my polar!
  • I did wii fit and EA Sports Active when I first started working out. I was 260 pounds at the time and afraid of going to a gym. I lost my first 30 lbs using the wii. I can't remember what exercises I did with the wii fit, but the Sports active was really effective.
  • 20 minutes kettlebell swings. Shoveling snow!!
  • I wear these around the house when I am barefoot. They help so much to prevent flare ups or stop them if they're just getting started. http://www.footsmart.com/P-Arch-Pro-Tec-10036.aspx I use these inserts in all my shoes. http://www.footsmart.com/P-Shock-Doctor-Ultra2-Insoles-10409.aspx?c=None Since I started using these,…
