  • try eating just a bit more. You're body may be starving and need more calories. instead of 1200 calories (after workout) a day try around 1400-1500 calories a day. with the amount your working out your body may just need more energy and thinks its starving so it stores everything as fat ie weight gain.
  • www.bodyrock.tv search throughout the older videos, read about their diet/fitness advice.. they have some that are body weight only, some that are cardio with little or no equipment. here is the cardio one I spoke of: http://www.bodyrock.tv/2009/07/27/20-minute-interval-cardio-workout-part-15/ its Interval cardio so it…
  • they do. your eyelashes will naturally fall out and they grow back when that happens. So give it time. they will grow back. I've ripped out mine before. now they are fine.
  • www.randomabs.com they have (you guessed it!) random ab workouts for everyday. just check back once a day (I also believe they have it listed for the week). They even have a video to show you how, text to read about it, and a picture. so NO EXCUSES!! ;) best of luck! :)
  • Congrats on the loss!!! I haven't tried but read a lot about and can't wait to try resistance bands. They will tone and give muscle definition without bulking you up.
  • I workout more. You're body burns more calories because it knows you crave things so it boosts its metabolism naturally. (don't go over board with the eating! its only 500 or less calories!!!) plus it helps cramping and it makes my flow a little lighter. the bloating doesnt last as long either because I'm sweating/working…
  • LOVELY attitude!! :)
  • As long as your eating healthy and you feel like you're giving your body enough nutrients, just listen to your body. If your are not hungry, don't force yourself to eat. If you have a lot of calories left over and you're concerned, eat a tablespoon of peanut butter (if you're not allergic). it has the healthy fat your body…

  • WAY TO GO! I remember when I first ran for 20 minutes straight. I felt on top of the world! I've been slacking lately so I probably can't do it now. (I'm waiting to get more supportive shoes)...
  • This is probably the most inspirational thing I've read! I love that you did a month by month picture. To show that this happens over time and not over night. You look amazing! You can see how you begin to feel about yourself as the photos progress (you actually smile in the ones near the end- and have every right to!!!)…
  • Congratulations on feeling this way! :) I wish you the best of luck! I also wish I would've thought about that when i was in high school, i would probably be in better shape today. lol feel free to friend me! :)
  • I quoted what he said, and he wasn't trying to be mean. Cjjones: I think how you worded it is how he meant it to sound. Thanks nicolerah! :) I usually do 30 or so minutes of core work a day.. I also usually run 2-4 miles a day. some strength but not a lot. The past few days I've been slacking because I need to get some new…
  • We have about the same goals! I'm 5'3" and want to weight 120-125 area. I'm not overweight by any means, I weigh 132-133. so not a lot to lose but since I'm considered "healthy" its super hard for my body to understand to lose weight. Congrats on the loss so far! :) Feel free to friend me.

  • I've read a lot that you want the most caloric meal as your lunch so you have the rest of the day to burn it off by doing your normal routine. and the next highest calorie meal is breakfast and then a light dinner to wind down the day. you're more likely to burn more calories in the mornings/afternoons (with work,…

  • Drink so much water that I hear it sloshing around in my tummy and then I go for a walk, and if I still crave it but am not physically hungry, I will divide it into the suggested serving size, and say out loud numerous times "I AM NOT HUNGRY BUT I'M GOING TO EAT THIS ANYWAY." Pretty soon, I either get tired of saying that,…
  • Thanks so much!! :)
  • Thanks everyone! and No, I am not trying to be a fitness model, and Yes the height plays into there for sure, but I think the BMI charts I've read say I should be around 120 lbs.... So my goal of 18% is healthier and try to stay around the 123 lbs?
  • stand up straight with fingers pressed into your stomach. inhale deeply and while exhaling, tighten your abs and press your fingers in, anything you can grab is pure fat. (obviously if it feels thin its more than likely skin- which can be remedied with toning exercises and time).
  • peanut butter is high in calories but also high in good fats and other proteins, maybe have two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches? after adding jelly and bread it might add up.
