  • can you take it back and exchange it for a smaller size? or how much would it cost to tailor it and bring it in a little? I'd keep with your goals if I were you.
  • I'm also starting again. This is ...the millionth time... More like the third actual time. The times when I was a kid don't really count. ANYWAY! The first time I lost 30 pounds I ended up gaining back all of it and 30 more. Then I lost 90 pounds and gained back 50. Now I plan to lose 40-50 and keep it off! The good news…
  • Right now my main motivation is my horse and my goals with riding. It's hard to excel in riding if I'm overweight. Also, it's mean for me to ask her to work out five to six days a week if I don't do it. Fair is fair, right? Motivations change. It's important to be able to do this for yourself but it's also really difficult…
  • As long as you're doing SOMETHING...that's great. You're taking steps in the right direction. People are going to tell you all sorts of crazy things along the way. Just trust yourself. You'll figure out what your body responds to best.
  • You got this!! For sure keep snacks around. I like protein bars for the ease and because they don't require refrigeration or anything. A lot of people love nuts but just make sure to not over-do it. They're super healthy but also high in calories. Something I did wrong last time around was I was too strict with myself…
  • Clippers
  • I don't watch football so I'm solid :) No cheating today for me.
  • Just separately log bacon, eggs, and cheese. It might not be 100% accurate but I'm sure it will be close enough. I always err on the side of logging in slightly more food than I actually ate to make sure I'm not accidentally cheating.
  • Good point, Wendy. Thank you!
  • Thanks for all of your ideas :) The girls' night in sounds good, as does finding healthier friends!
  • I'm 5'10 (178 cm) and currently weigh 207 lb (94 kg). My goal is 170 lb (77 kg). The lowest I've ever been (in my adult life) was 161 lb but everyone said I looked anorexic . And yeah then for various reasons I lost focus and got back up to 215 lb so now I'm going back down.
  • I am going to eat less sweets, log my food, and work out 3-5 times a week. :)
  • Quest bars use whey protein which comes from milk so if you don't do cow's milk at all then they don't work but if you just don't drink it then but don't mind eating milk products then those are amazing--20 g protein per bar. Some of them have nuts in them though so just be careful as to which you buy. There have a lot of…
  • 1360 seems extremely low for someone weighing 255. I imagine you've been eating much higher than that so that's a drastic cut in calories. I suggest starting at like 1600 calories a day and go from there. Otherwise the cut is too drastic. As far as your working out goes, keep it up!! You can add a little more exercise as…
  • My brother uses it. He loses weight when he goes on their program. His only issue is that when he's not on the program he can't maintain the weight loss =[ However, he's successful when on it so their program works. It just requires dedication after you stop eating their food to maintain yourself and keep tracking your own…
  • I love lifting <3 I don't always post my exercise on here....I think I'm going to start posting it on my lifting days because I'm going to start calorie cycling (eating more on days I lift and less on days I only do cardio). I try to lift 3 days a week and do cardio 4-6 days a week, depending on my schedule. Anywho, feel…
  • I was vegan for almost a year...then was convinced to start eating fish, eggs, dairy, and some chicken...after about a month of that I realized it was the worst decision I ever made. I've been vegan again for about a month and a half. I've been looking for more vegan/vegetarian friends so anyone feel free to add me!
  • Horse radish may not be but lots of places are mixing horse meat and beef and saying it's just beef 8-).
  • Some of you people are really frustrating. Quite honestly. Some of the things you believe to be wrong are ridiculous. Such as the woman who believes that sodas and artificial sweeteners are not bad for you. Wow. GO MURICA.
  • I'm 5'10...My goal weight is 160 for now. I got down to 161 before and people kept saying I was too skinny but I don't think I was. I want more muscle, though... I have a big frame unfortunately, though, so I don't really think I can way much less than 150-160.
  • The only foods that aren't mostly carbs are meats/cheeses/yogurts. Some yogurts are actually high in carbs also. You should read the yogurts to be careful that they aren't mostly sugar if you plan to eat them because they might be backfiring. However, even if you're eating high carb foods, it might be fine...just make sure…
  • I want more friends!! Add me =]
  • Is everyone still doing this? How far along are you guys?
  • I think what happens is we let ourselves get too comfortable. Some people are able to eat whatever they want and not gain weight. You see that and see that you're the same weight as them and think "why not me"? "Why can't I eat whatever I want?" So you start trying to eat whatever you want and you don't pay attention.…
  • I want to play!!! 50 miles is a lot to walk/jog/run since I don't tend to walk/jog/ or run, haha. I can start hiking more with my dogs, so that should help contribute to the 50!
  • There is plenty wrong with everything dairy. We are not meant to consume milk.
  • Dear god... Don't listen to the people saying to eat full fat dairy products. Listen to the ones talking about avocado and natural nut butters. Those have good fats. There are nine calories in each gram of fat. Each gram of protein has 4 calories...so does each gram of carbs. So the easiest way to get the extra calories is…
  • Just get a burrito bowl without rice. You can make a healthy meal at chipotle! I did yesterday. Chicken, fajita veggies, guac, salsa, black beans. It was delicious and clean.
