Thank you guys! Useful to know all this stuff - I think the amount of use I'll get out of them I'll get something basic for the time being.

A hot, sweet girl who makes him smile a lot.

Wow! There is quite a team here on MFP - who knew? I guess another strength of mine is my murderous streak when I'm hungry - I imagine in the apocalypse food will be hard to come by so I will be in constant "attack" mode!

Thanks guys... I have started my boxing and joining a running club this week, just to widen my circle, I think that even if I don't meet someone there it will give me a bit more confidence and they have social events too don't they? The reason I don't think on-line dating sites are the way for me is because I have tried it…

Thanks all! You are so right! The anger management and stress relief was second to none - I really felt in my body and not in my mind.
-
It was awesome! I know I will feel it in the morning (my arms are already feeling a little sore!), such a great fun work out - I am so going back next week - I think this will take my fitness to another level! :-)
-
Thank you all - gives me something to go on before I go. Pretty nervous but excited too! :-)

Thanks guys - always nice to know a little before I get there. I have a feeling there will be a lot of warm up etc before they even let me loose on a bag! Although I am dying to have a go at that!

I know this is a really old thread but I started taking Chromium picolinate last week and it has really helped my sugar cravings. As my friends on here know I am a bit of a carb and sugar queen and I knew that 90g of jelly beans a day was doing me no favours. It has really helped to bring the cravings in check!

I posted a similar problem here - http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1199984-how-does-everyone-manage-to-eat-enough-protein There are some really great ideas there! I have started adding 5g of Whey protein (original) to my milk for my cereal, having a protein shake most days and increasing fish and meat - I am hitting…

I know it's a forever thing for me, without doing the weighing, measuring and logging I gain weight very quickly and I don't want to do that. I figure I spend about 20 minutes a day weighing and measuring and it is now second nature to me, I can eyeball certain things within a few Grams but can't see the point as I have…

I don't know - I am just addicted to the darned things! I know I should cut them out, I am intending to do it when I finish the bag I have on the go.

Well I bought some yogurt (the Greek had less protein so went for the higher protein option) had it with some protein shake powder and berries and it was ok! I have met my target over the last 3 days and I am trying to plan more earlier in the day and make use of the protein shake stuff I have by sneaking it in stuff and…

I am a grazer to the extreme! I think you're right, more protein will help with that - I think the Greek yogurt is going to help a great deal. Thank you again everyone.
-
It's that extra 20g that I struggle with - crazy I know!
-
Really? So no wonder it is so hard! 120 grams is just so much - I think I could easily manage 100 grams - so much easier, thank you!
-
Thanks everyone, some great ideas - I'll get myself some Greek yogurt as that seems a good place to start! I think I need to look at my food intake meal for meal as dinner is never an issue but breakfast and lunch are where I fall down. Some great snacks as well - I will sneak a look at those with open diaries for more…

Thank you for this - I know I am a carb queen and I need to cut that right down. I do try to add more protein to my diet and will continue to do that and keep within my macros. The last few weeks have been really bad I will admit - last week doubly so because I had a migraine and just felt compelled to eat all of the time,…

I know it is down to me being a greedy mare over the last couple of weeks - I will pare that down and ensure that I am eating enough protein, not eating as much rubbish, adding in some cardio and not doing cardio on weights days (except to warm up). Thanks!
-
I am trying to eat more protein - it is tough though! I am eating red meat, fish, chicken as often as I can, I also have a good protein shake that has 23g of protein on days when I am lifting heavy. I drink a lot of water about 1 1/2 litres of water, 3 cups of herbal tea as well as tea and fizzy drinks (although they are…

Just a tiny bit on my tummy - but overall I like the way my body looks - I think I would just like to see those abs that are hiding under the layer of fat I have.
-
Thank you all for everything you've said - a great deal of "food for thought" I do enjoy the weights - I am loving how much stronger I am and how I can actually see some muscles (my arms are taking shape and my thighs are rock hard) but I do think I have been missing out on cardio which really is how I lost the weight. I…

No weights aren't responsible for me eating too much rubbish - I think being poorly was (although after weights I could eat a scabby horse!)

It just seems everywhere at the moment "lift heavy" and "cardio is not going to give you the body you want" - the trainer at the gym, here, the internet in general. I miss cardio though, I have to say - I think I am going to mix it up and put some cardio back in there to get rid of some of the extra fat I've got. I know I…
