My personal opinion is that one night of excess is not going to completely derail you. If it is just one night and you won't use it as an excuse to go off the wall with your eating for 2 weeks, and to not exercise because reasons, then just enjoy your birthday and do what you like. Yes, you may see an increase in the scale…

I do not see the point in eating a steak that is less than 9oz.

This. I was terrified of gyms and hated the idea of them for a long time. But now I NEED a gym because I don't have the space for the equipment I need for my routine. I still get out and hike, or ride my bike, or walk around when weather permits.

This. When I first measured out one serving of pasta it was much smaller than what I have served myself in the past. At first, I just made room in my day for 2 servings of pasta at dinner since that was closer to my normal amount. Now I have found that eating one serving of pasta is satisfying if I add protein and extra…

AH. Cool. Yep, bent over rows, AKA Pendlay rows

SL 5x5 calls for Bent Over Rows.

Excuse. I was on the rag this week. I chose to not work out. I chose to eat a lot. My choice, not my period's. Just pop some ibuprofen and exercise your free will muscle. I wish I had done that!

I think anyone who didn't take comparison photos regrets it. I understand why we avoid cameras but sometimes there are changes not even a measuring tape or scale can show us.

Go for it. It's not about TRYING to have one piece. Just make the decision. Just have one piece. You're not allowed to have anymore. PERIOD. Prove to yourself that you're a sentient human being in control of your actions. Or hell, if it fits into your calories have 2 slices. Figure out your day, figure out what you can…

Because I will feel better about myself and look hotter and be able to do more and be easier to carry and be stronger and.... all kinda cool stuff.

Sometimes I just don't! Like this week... I kinda just force myself. Pure will. I get up at 4:30 so there's no one I'd text at that time. I just keep telling myself that 100% of the time, I feel good about forcing myself to work out. I have never regretted it. It's cool that you can get yourself to do it, but your stuff is…

That's fantastic. 2 pounds a week is a lofty goal for anyone. You were probably losing at that rate at first, and then it slowed down because that rate of loss is not sustainable for people who don't have too much weight to lose. You'll probably only lose .5-1lb a week from now on. And that's great! Any progress is…

What you're doing wrong is you're using the word toning. I kid, I kid. 3 weeks is not that long, especially if you don't have a lot to lose and you just want to see changes in your body more than anything else. You don't *need* to eat clean, but if that does it for you... by all means, have fun. I think you will probably…

Trainers are not infallible creatures of infinite wisdom. It doesn't seem like she knows what she is talking about. You are not requesting anything dangerous. Her job is to help you reach your goals. I started lifting weights on a barbell having only done body weight exercises previously.

It's only been a few weeks, like 3 at most. Don't be so hard on yourself. Are you about to get your period? That might be causing the scale to jump. You've made positive changes. Keep them up, make sure you're tracking accurately and you will get the results you seek.

I could never follow a plan like that however I check out that website often for recipe ideas, just to change it up once in a while. Some pretty tasty meals there.

I happened to me this week because of PMS and lots of sodium.
