Hi Amy! Fantastic, I'm on Day 4 today. Yeah, it really really gets into your back! The third circuit is the 'hardest' for me, and I really like the second. I've been doing little bits of No More Trouble Zones most days too - have you tried that?
-
Day 3 done. I did 3 circuits of No More Trouble Zones too. I really like it.
-
If you did Ripped in 30, then yes, you should do the Level 1 workout for 5-6 days this week and then move on to Level 2 next week.
-
Day 2 done! Its a little different to the Shred. I think Level 1 is easier than Level 3 of 30DS (especially the cardio) but harder than Level 1 30DS. Anyone else doing RI30 at the moment?
-
Both the DVDs are the same format: a warm-up, then 3 'circuits', each made up of 3 minutes strength training (push-ups, squats etc), 2 minutes cardio (jumping jacks, plank jacks etc) and 1 minute abs (crunchs, planks etc), then a cool-down. For both DVDs you need hand weights and a mat. They are pretty much the same but…

I think a lot of people do 30DS first. I've only done one day of Ripped in 30 so far, but my impression is that Level 1 of Ripped in 30 is harder than Level 1 of 30 Day Shred, so perhaps its good to start with 30DS and then move to RI30?

Aaaaaaaand..... I'm DONE! Level 3 Day 10 complete. And I'm going to start Ripped in 30 this weekend - maybe tomorrow or maybe Sunday, depending how I feel. AJoyfulLife, I'm not sure even now if I really like Level 3. I went back and tried Level 2 yesterday and really enjoyed it, though, which is funny as I hated it at the…

Level 2 Day 8 done! Two to go! So pleased to see so many of us still going (or finished!). TravlinMel, what are you doing now/next?
-
There's a helpful 'sticky' with a how-to under the Success Stories board.
-
Level 3 Day 7 done. AJoyfulLife, I wouldn't worry about taking a break. I've had three days off since I started and I think its fine. The breaks are probably good for your body anyway! I can't believe there are only 3 days left for me! I previewed Ripped in 30 and it looks so much more SERIOUS. Kind of nervous about it!
-
Haha, go Michele! I yell too, but mostly "WHY, JILLIAN? WHY DO YOU HATE ME?!!" Level 3 Day 6 down. Four to go!
-
Well done, Travlinmel! As Jillian says, "Amazing job. AMAZING. JOB." :drinker: Do you have B&A photos???
-
Level 3 Day 4 done! Keep it up, everyone.
-
I just use plain lemon juice, balsamic vinegar and a little grain mustard.
-
Level 3 Day 3 down! One week to go! How is everyone else going? SAB8A? Amy? I think we are on the same day :)
-
Was bored tonight so I did an extra Shred, just Level 1. Was AMAZED at how easy it was! I even managed 16 full push-ups each time. I can't quite believe that just three weeks ago that workout nearly killed me. Great motivation to keep going.
-
That's actually one of the exercises from Level 3!
-
Why don't you join this group: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/986575-30-day-shred-starting-monday-13th-may You're only a couple of days behind.
-
Level 3 Day 2 done! I can't decide if its easier than Level 2 or not. Some sections are SO hard, like the mountain climbers and the squat/rockstar jumps. But I think its more varied and interesting. Eight days to go!
-
Level 3 Day 1! I agree with the others, its FUN! But that last cardio circuit with all the jumps - crazy!
-
I started on April 22 and have just completed Day 20 (L2D10). Tomorrow I move on to Level 3. I have had 3 rest days.
-
Level 2 Day 10 done! Finally!!! Should have been yesterday but I went to a theme park with some friends instead! Did heaps nd heaps of walking around though. Today was one of the hardest L2 workouts I've had, maybe the hardest apart from Level 2 Day 1. Don't know if it was the day off, or just because I'm a little tired.…
-
Level Two Day 9 done, too! I'm going to go straight into Ripped in 30 when I finish. It has mixed reviews but I've heard its similar to the Shred format but a little harder, which sounds perfect. I just don't think I can face 30DS again right away without dying of boredom, and I don't really want to buy new heavier weights…
-
L2 Day 8 done, too! Its definitely getting easier. I actually enjoyed it! I haven't been doing anything else formally, but I do either bike or walk to University most days. Its only 3 km though.
-
Level 2 Day 6 down! I took 15 day progress photos and was REALLY happy to see the changes! Can't wait until Day 30. For me, I think it depends if its the cardio or strength section. For cardio, its important to keep your heart rate up, so I try and keep at the same speed as the video. For strength, I think its worth…

Good to see so many people still on board! Keep it up everyone, we're getting closer and closer! I did Level 2 Day 5 today. Half way! Its getting easier and easier, and more fun. Its great getting the hang of the moves so I can concentrate harder on actually working hard. One thing I do find a but frustrating is that in…

Great to hear the positive review of Level 3! I am really not enjoying Level 2, although I can tell its a great workout and is making me stronger. I'm struggling with keeping my arms directly under my shoulders for the Level 2 planks and I think the forearm planks might be easier.
-
Level 2 Day 4 done! Its got a lot quieter in here... is everyone still going???
-
What a weird thing to say. OP, you look awesome.
-
I use 2kg weights (4.4lbs), because thats all I have!
