I'm 29 and hopefully running my first in September too! I will probably have to walk some of it, but I'm just going to do as much as I can

I gained 10 lb the first month I was on the pill. My weight had been steady prior to that. I have been able to lose a little bit but it has been slow going.

A big portabello cap, marinate in the same stuff you marinate you meat in (just us a different bag). Pop on the grill. Add sauerkraut. Mmmm. Or just a good burger, with good beef, chopped garlic and jalapenos mixed in with seasoning, grilled and eaten with a fork/no bun (The bun distracts from the deliciousness). Cheese,…

There are plenty of delicious ways to get enough calories on a vegan diet (I ate vegan for several years) Trail mix Various nut butters on whole grain bread. Add bananas or sliced…

This is my question for the day too! I am also on week three of running consistantly. I ate all my calories yesterday and ate back my exercise calories. I was a little hungry at bedtime so I had some tea. This morning I am ravernous. It's not even noon and I have eaten my breakfast, lunch, and a snack. I drank water and…

If you get a good answer, let me know. I have been very vocal about being healthy and trying to eat less junk. My coworkers had cupcakes, Mexican, and doughnuts last week. I made it to Thursday before I caved. I was able to fit it in my calories for the day but I would rather it just not be presented to me.

There is also a significant difference in men vs women losing weight. I have to be extremely intentional to do everything right (count calories, exercise regular, eat just enough) to steadily lose weight. My fiance can just decide to "eat healthy" and he drops his excess pounds.

W2D1: Best run yet! Feel great, good time, perfect weather, and Pandora chose perfect songs. :)

Coworkers ordered Mexican and had cupcakes for dessert. I said no without feeling conflict and am going for my C25K run after work. :)

There is an active C25K group also

Whew. I am so tired today (I didn't sleep well last night). I am trying to start getting myself excited about W2D1 tonight. Last week felt great and reminded me how much I missed running in the first place. Any words of encouragement for getting my act together and running after work tonight?

Waist/tummy - the area just under my boobs. Now, if my thighs would just go back to normal...

29 here. Goal is to be healthy weight/healthy BMI before I turn 30! Got 15-20 lbs to go. I would love the encouragement and the friendship

October bride here! I would love to just get down to a healthy weight by my wedding. 15 lbs should be doable between then and now. I would love any tips/suggestions for making my arms look pretty. My waist/hip area will be well hidden by my dress.

I just finished week 1! Once upon a time, I used to run regularly. I moved 4 years ago and just completely got out of the habit. It's so hard starting over. I feel good though. I promised myself if I stick with it for 2 weeks, I will buy new running shoes.

October 2013 bride here. We can do this!
