You can use the app on your phone and double track but WW is sooooo propriety they won’t share data. Somewhere on MFP is a script for installing a conversion to convert MFP food into WW points but (as far as I know) its in the old point system and only works on computer. My IT son had to install it for me but it was a…

Thanks. That’s a start

I think WW is trying to go Paleo or Primal. And you don’t count serving size on those. I did Primal while on WW and list 10# so far. Has anybody figured the cal fat carb protein split yet so we can set up our MFP to coincide ?

Hi I am an ED NP. W over 30 yrs in. Lost 40# a few yrs back and have slowly crept 12 back on. Working hard to take it back off but at 61 3/4 hrs old it's getting harder and harder to get it off and do these killer shifts.

I'll have to see if my son can figure it out. Thanks
-
WOW! Thanks for all your help. I'll give it another week or two

Geez I feel like an old lady here. In nursing since 1980. NP for past 21 yrs in ED. Shift work plays havoc with weight loss. Those of us that work consistent nights always way a few pounds extra due to cortisol levels. Just a few. But me? Oh I weighed 35 over my goal weight. Now down 1/2 that and really struggling to lose…

Do you use the same script for the new WW smart points plan?

My daughter in law just finished the Jet Blue Ling Beach marathon. Her first. I am so proud. She has will power ! Even made her husband find her a place to run in Seattle when they were on vacation. We live in California

Went thru the same thing my self. Good luck on organized exercise. When I did make it to the gym I felt guilty for not being w the kids but remember if you don't take care of yourself there won't be anything left of you to care for the kids. How old are they? Play is an exercise, take them for a walk, play ball, laugh,…

I a little lost on this thread. I have a Fitbit surge and it syncs my steps when I work out but if I go for a run or spin or choose weight lifting for an exercise the diary cardio exercise section ever show the activity just the steps and calorie burn. I want my MFP friends to see my work out. Is there something else I…

No health issues here. It just seemed like a good sensible eating plan. But seemed complicated in the book

Anyone use a glycemic index or glycemic load app?
-
Yes lower GI foods are more healthy. Sugar busters isn't about getting rid of ALL sugar but limiting it's role in our diet. It's also about high fiber carbs like whole grains, rye or sour dough bread. But all I can seem to do is track macro and unless I use another app to double track my food to figure out which foods are…

Bruce. On your Active app can u still hear the virtual trainer with the screen off on your phone? I use zen labs and if I turn my screen off you can't hear the trainer anymore.
-
Bruce. For your Active C25k app, does your virtual trainer talk even if your screen is off? I use zen labs c25k and if you turn ur screen off on the iPhone the you can't hear the train say run and walk. Most frustrating

I followed the directions and linked digifit with fitbit, then linked fibit with MFP. the calories are almost correct, thankyou all for the instructions, but having it linked this way seems fitbit does not give me full calorie burn for example: Digifit says I burned 449 for spinning, and when everything is synce it shows…

Post menopausal weight loss sucks. lost 4 pounds 2 weeks ago, switched shifts to 2nd shift last week, and gained 3 back. Damn cortisol and weight gain. How do we get around that?

I work either 2-midnight, 3p-0100 or there abouts and a 1 hour communte home. Eat breakfast when you get up, but make sure you get up at the same time every day 8 or 9 am. then go excercise. I like to eat on my way to work around 1 or 2 for lunch, then a light snack at work in the late afternoon then dinner around 7pm. And…
