I have to say, this is totally true! Had a personal training session last night and she had me do some exercise where I was supposed to fold over and put my hands on the floor. Well, my hamstrings are always tight from running. We both got a good laugh when I could only reach my shins. Something to work on.

Two pieces of whole wheat toast, two tablespoons of peanut butter, and a banana.

This would be a great question for your OB Doc. I'd also be asking for a referral to a registered dietitian.

That's okay. You go ahead and pass on the potatoes. We'll take them and continue to crush our goals.

Deep frying a XL tortilla shell will add a ton of calories to anything. I knew when that picture popped up that it was almost 1K calories. I actually overestimated on most everything. Which isn't a bad thing. I'd rather overestimate the calories I'm eating and underestimate what I'm burning.

Fairly certain I'm "real". Salmon takes less than 15 minutes to prepare. Paired with a frozen steamer bag veggies and/or a potato, I have a meal in less than 30 minutes. It doesn't take me more than 15 minutes in the morning to prepare my lunch. Often times, it's a huge salad with other goodies. Otherwise, I've been known…

It will help hydrate her. Since she's getting over an illness, I'd give her whatever she'll drink.

We recently bought a half hog from a local farmer. So, I'll be pulling out ham for that and making all the sides to go along with it.

Yes! Beer and cheese and brats.

I'm from Wisconsin. Cheese is life.

Nope - tried it for 2 weeks and quit. The group leader told me *not* to eat back any exercise points. Despite training for a half marathon (25+ miles of running a week plus strength training and whatever else). I couldn't sleep because of the very low calories I was on (I figured I was eating less than 1000 a day with the…

Eggs, bacon, and toast are a general go-to for me. I may throw in a Greek yogurt for a little extra protein. "Healthy" is subjective. A green smoothie, oatmeal, or cereal will leave me wanting more and I'll end up ravenous within an hour.

Jack and Diet. Bourbon on the rocks. And...well, that's about it.

One that is WAY more that $60!!!

I'll also echo the recommendation for a running store to get fitted. The great thing about the good running stores is that they will have a liberal return policy. I've been fitted before, take the shoes home, go out for a few runs and realize they aren't for me. The store happily takes them back for credit and helps me…

Aliens. In all actuality, your high tech scale isn't as reliable and accurate as you claim. Also, the scale can fluctuate several pounds on a day to day basis.
