ToM kicking my *kitten* hard today. I'm going to have to skip the workout lest my uterus fall out. :dizzy: Hopefully I'll be able to continue tomorrow! And @Katie_Y89, that's brilliant!

You look great! Congratulations! And you have lovely eyes.

Step-1: Not treat this as a diet. Step-2: Get started. Welcome to MFP and good luck!

Starting a new corporate job in June, so want to be able to look the part as well. Gone are the days writing code in jeans and a Metallica T-shirt. I'd like to be able to wear dress pants and shirts without looking like a frump with a too-large chest.

Don't we all.

Level 1 day 8 done!

Start a recomp. And wear tiny clothes. :sunglasses:

No guy I've ever been with has cared about stretch marks. Didn't even cross my mind, to be honest. You'd be surprised at the number of women (and men) who have stretch marks - even the skinny ones who haven't been fat a day in their lives, due to growth spurts and whatnot. I suggest you don't let the scars bother you. If…

Those are great results after just a third of the way through!

ETA: You needn't 'eat clean' to lose weight. Eat more nutrient-dense foods, sure, they are good for you. But they will not help you lose weight any faster. Keep room for some treats as well. Log everything consistently. Never eyeball your portions, weigh and measure everything accurately and choose the correct entries from…

I'm impatiently awaiting the complete annihilation of the human race.

Exactly! :weary:

Awesome, good for you. Point is, you still lost weight because you consumed less calories than you burned. Whether it was by eating 'healthy' or 'nutrient-dense' or 'whole' foods, or x or y or z. Saying CI<CO for weight loss is wrong is like saying F=ma is wrong. Like most people here are trying to say, CI<CO can be…

Level 1 day 7 done. And I'm thinking of trying out the yoga DVD too.

Daily, and record it on Libra. I prefer working with weekly trends than a random weekly number that can possibly be severely off due to water weight.
-
Keep a weekly goal instead of a daily one. Some days you go above considerably, some days you fall considerably short. I find it more practical to make sure my deficit adds up to 3500 cals at the end of the week, instead of 500 per day.

Yep, normal. I've been nursing a two-pound gain since Sunday and my period is at least 3 days away. Not the first time it's happened.

RI30 is just so much harder for me. I think I might redo 30DS next month and then move on to RI30. But then again, depends on my fitness level once I'm done with this month.

What is your TDEE? How much do you need to lose overall? Are you eating back your exercise calories?
-
That is absolutely remarkable! You are awesome!!!

Pretty much this.
