Great job on your first day! It will be easier once you have surgery. I always find it interesting what different doctors require for pre-op diets. I struggled at night during the pre-op diet & i realized that if i removed myself from the livingroom/kitchen area and went upstairs to my bedroom, it was easier to avoid…

Hi Thaeda, thanks for responding. Thats what i was thinking. 1800 seemed more like what I should be eating to maintain, not for losing. I know everyone is different, so I'll figure it out eventually, but everyones responses have really helped. :smiley:

You can do it Teresa!!! What an awesome loss youve had, even with the regain (which i know all too well, lol). I figured I'd set mfp at 1800 cals like the nutritionist wanted, so that when I see her again on the 29th she sees Ive taken her suggestions seriously. But mentally, i think im ending up around 1300 cals, max 1500.

I have been borderline anemic for years. This started with only being anemic during my cycle, as I have very heavy periods. I have a sportline duo which i love. its lasted forever and is accurate. Not as popular as the polar, but is a solid heart rate monitor. no matter what brand you decide on, be sure to get a chest strap and watch combo. they are the most accurate. good luck and congrats at almost being at goal.
