Thank you all for the helpful answers. I've used MFP for a long time, but never realised you could manually adjust your goals. The best of both worlds it is then! Thanks again

Amazing job well done. You look lovely. Now don't let up!

i lost around 100lbs doing this last year and it's safe, as long as you take a break when your body tells you you need it. also hiit workouts are just that - high intensity - make sure you feed your body enough or you'll be feeling weak and miserable.

the one in the pink top where you have your piercings showing. hubba hubba!

this is a toughy. i lost around 100lbs last year and it really can change you a lot as a person. truth be told i completely lost track of who i was or what i wanted. i left my girlfriend of 5 years and slipped back into a morbid depression. i didn't leave her because i thought there was something better out there for me or…

it's true, in a lot of ways being single isn't much fun. i miss being special, and being able to make someone else feel special. on the plus side being single is the best way to get to know yourself and to make yourself feel special and i fully intend to spend my time doing just that. no time for moping!

i wish i'd had the foresight when i was young to make sure i was in good enough shape to (embarrassing) become a professional wrestler. we can all dream, eh? what's the best prank you ever pulled?

more ignorance. go internet!

^ this is a fine example of someone being ignorant / rude. find something better to do than trolling these boards. perhaps you could weigh a pound of courtesy against a pound of idiocy and see which one you're lacking. op: what you said to your friend was just you being friendly and helpful, i'm sure. the response from…

you're right the new cd is great. mine are Frank Turner (if you haven't heard of this guy and like real singer/songwriter / folk / rock, PLEASE check him out), Jenny Owen Youngs, and from my youth Hundred Reasons & Alkaline Trio

my ex doesn't get a special picture, just her facebook profile picture, but she does have a special ringtone. we broke up on good terms after 5 years and are trying to be friends and even though i think she's made some mistakes since we broke up and we've really grown apart, i still like to remember that we were close for…

i am right there with you pal. after a year of serious hard work last year which saw me lose 106lbs, stress and depression and plain old overeating have caused me to regain 35lbs. this week i have found my mojo! back in the saddle big guy :)

My favourite breakfast, though I never have time to make it, is mustard scrambled egg tortilla. Stick a teaspoon of wholegrain mustard in your scrambled eggs with some mushrooms and fill a tortilla. This will come in around 300 calories depending on your ingredients and keeps me going til lunch (when I'm not too lazy to…

I MUCH prefer a real book but I have a Kindle too and get on with it well. I tend to buy an actual book if it's an author I really like or I want on my shelf and if it's someone new to me I'll usually get it on Kindle first. Kindle books can be really overpriced so the price factor is a big one when deciding too.

Not a chance in hell.

Ignore this. Duplicate.

Wellll... I'm 26. Close guess. I was fearing worse :P

Good work staying young, I would have put you in your 20's too from your pic. Some people are lucky I guess!

It's gotta be The Shawshank Redemption & Shaun of the Dead.

No pun intended?

I thought of a door knob. I died frantically wishing science fiction movies could be real and I could have opened a door to another dimension and escaped. The key words "I died".

I have a Kindle but there is nothing that will stop me from buying physical books too. If a book holds a special place for me, I will definitely buy a special copy, but usually read from my Kindle. See what they need is a scratch and sniff Kindle, so it can still smell like a book too

The Dark Tower series, Stephen King (In truth almost anything by King, but The Dark Tower & The Talisman mostly) 1984, George Orwell I'm also going to hop on the Harry Potter bandwagon, they're just so readable and I could lose myself in that world again and again The Lord of the Rings The Road, Cormac McCarthy

I'm new and confused about starvation mode. ...wait a second...
