I did my first in October and my time was 30:47. My fiance and I crossed the finish line together. :) I am currently five months pregnant, so my time is much slower these days.. but I can't wait to get back at it and really challenge myself to beat my old time!

Great advice! When I was losing before I would do this sometimes. Even just for one weekend or something.

I am in the same place with only having 10-15 pounds to lose. It's hard because it moves much slower now than it did in the beginning. For me personally, it's harder because I am pretty happy with where I am at right now. And although I know I'd eventually like to lose the last little bit, I'm not in the biggest rush. I'm…

November in Canada, not quite the same... But we do the same when it's not winter! We'll walk to the store to get snacks if we want them for on lazing on the couch watching a movie.

I've made many changes. Aside from calorie counting and exercise, here are some small things I've changed. Parking in the furthest parking spot from the mall/store. Drinking water before meals. Chewing gum when I'm at work and feeling like I want to eat something. Waiting at least ten minutes before getting a second plate…

Potato Chips. Almost any kind.

I'm going to try and stick with what I do every other day. With that said, I am not going to beat myself up if I get a little of track one or two days.

I'm 5"7, 162 and I eat 1650 a day to lose one pound per week. You're probably just a little more active than you think.
-
I eat at maintenance on Sundays. I try not to go over maintenance as I know that way I am not undoing any of the progress I have made during the week. Usually, if there's something I want I fit it into my daily calories though.

Great job! My fiance and I did our first one in the beginning of October in 30:47. I can't wait to do another and keep improving the time!

The porn isn't the issue, people need to look past that. The issue is that they agreed on not having a particular thing in their lives, they made that promise to each other. And he did it anyways. Think of it like this, if it were heroin instead of porn, would people still be telling her to get used to it because he's a…

Thanks for posting this, it's nice to see that every fluctuates just as much. In the past week, due to a few different factors, I've seen an 8lb gain because I'm retaining so much extra water. At one point, it was even up 11.5lbs from my normal weight. As someone who weighs myself daily (some days a couple times), I've…

They say it takes 4 weeks for you to notice changes, 8 weeks for those closest to you, and 12 weeks for everyone else. Stick with it! Focus on how you feel and that will carry you through the rest. Five pounds in two weeks is awesome!

I'm going through the same thing, but add in a few more factors and my scale has gone UP 11.5 pounds in one week. Just stick it out and let your body adjust. Don't focus on the number in the meantime, focus on how much more energy you have and on how good it feels. And congrats on the 80 pounds so far!

I am starting to get these again. I lost 70 pounds and have maintained for just over a year. I now rejoined and am starting again to lose the last 10 pounds and all I am hearing is that I don't need to and I shouldn't get any skinnier and all of it. My family is the worst for it. Just remember why you're doing this. You're…

I lost 70 pounds only doing calories, the first 50 of which was with hardly any exercise. Now that I am in the home stretch, on the last 10 pounds, I am trying to start paying attention to my macros. It's a change for me, because before I've been so focused on only the calories. I am working out a lot more now too though,…

My boyfriend is the same way. Luckily for me, as I am one of the women who would be uncomfortable with it. You can't all sit there and say she shouldn't have a problem with it or that if she does then she shouldn't tell him or keep him from going. It's all a matter of respect. If something bothers her and she voices it to…

Thanks for the reply, that's what I'm hoping for.

I turned down free pizza and bread sticks at the office for lunch and went home and made an egg white and spinach omelet instead!

Thanks, I'll just keep sticking it out and hydrating lots! I'm starting to watch the sodium intake too now. Also, bump! Anyone else ever run into something like this?
-
Awesome, thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the replies! I'll keep doing what I'm doing and see what happens over the next 3-4 weeks.

I am pretty sure I'm eating enough. I eat back all of the calories burnt from it, so I am still netting 1450 a day. I know it' mostly just water retention, it just seems like a really high number for that! I know it seems like a lot but I have always been very active and I only do what I know my body is capable of. It's…

For me, the two days prior to are worse. I still stay on track, but I am sooo much hungrier than usual for those two days. I don't notice any difference while I am actually on it though, I've always been lucky in that department. But yeah, the days leading up are brutal sometimes!
