I like having friends on here. It's more interesting/comforting/motivating to know people are having their ups and downs, just like you. Feel free to add!

I just got done doing a HHA work-out.. Shaun-T knows his stuff! I have a combo Rockin' Body & HHA calander, and when I stick to it, it doesn't take long to notice a difference. Doesn't look manly?? Who cares! His great personality keeps it fun and he's in great shape.

Actually I did find a way to have it taste good... it was the after taste that was awful with too much of the powder. I just cut it down in half, adding coconut milk, fruits and/or peanut butter and it actually came out pretty good. Does the job for meal replacement as well.

There is also a place in "settings' where you can change your units.

I found a way to make it work! I've been using the sample packets, and the directions are to use one packet... too much for me! I find using half the amount with some peanut butter, coconut milk and/or friut leave no after taste all all!

It's very processed but I love them anyway!

I'm thinking it's because of the Stevia, thx for the tips... I'll have to play around with it some more.

Def agree.. the more you weigh (for now) requires more fuel, especially with exercise. As you gradually go down in weight and measurements, your total caloric intake will need to drop. It almost sounds as if your body is being sabotaged into the "starvation mode" game.

I love having friends on here for support & fun (I do think it makes a difference) but my caloric intake is 1200-1220 a day.

Ok, I guess that makes sense. I suppose if a person is in taking carbs at all it is better if they are fiber rich? I know our bodies use carbs for fuel... so perhaps the fiber content doesn't matter as much (in regards to carbs)? Also - I know cyclists who will bulk up on carbs for long rides, because they are going to…

I think tracking & logging is essential at first. Really gives you a good perspective of what/how much you put into your body. I also believe it doesn't need to be a forever thing, for as others have mentioned, you get a good sense of what you should and shouldn't be doing. I lost a bunch of weight a few years ago, and had…

Yes! I too, am pretty new to the site. Adding friend can be very helpful, they inspire and encourage.

This is a dilemma for me as well. I like to have a few drinks in the evening, be it wine, beer vodka, etc. I always enter them into my log... They ARE empty calories, but I do enjoy it so. Lesson for me: exercise more to earn my evening relaxation. And yes, I do drink a ton of water, too!

Don't know about the supplement... but always chugging water when feeling hungry works for me. Or sometimes a cup of coffee :)

I hope you are doing it for yourself and not for him!

New here! Friends for motivation would be great.
