  • I think key is being aware. I would even say mark the calendar, or highlight that week so you know to be especially aware of your/our eating habits during that time.
  • Day 12: I was supposed to be "off" but missed yesterday so did 120 today...just in case. I have a feeling I am not going low enough. Trying to go lower and lower with each day. I think this is a good start to get moving. :)
  • Day 4 for me, but I did 60 squats since I had to make up for missing on the 2nd day. Yep, I did one day, then missed the second one. No worries, now I am caught up. Anyone else, feel free to just jump in and start today! :)
  • Completed Day 2 which is 55 squats. I skipped yesterday so instead of taking the next day off on the list, I will work through until the next day off.
  • The whole world is your gym.
  • They have great choices. Grilled chicken instead of fried chicken OR BBQ Chicken Sandwich. Yum! The side...Green Beans! Double Yum!

  • I feel that in the computer age, getting motivation from online friends is sometimes the best way to go. We are in this together!
  • The reason I joined your group is for the title. my motto this time around so when I saw the group title, I jumped at it. You have GREAT topics and I hope we can promote this group. Don't stop. Keep writing and adding your thoughts. A little about me: I will be 47 next week, 5' 2 1/2 and weight 194.4(ish). It sucks being…
  • Definitely come back here and share your thoughts. I have a great support system and am VERY lucky, but no matter what, nobody knows how it feels to have to lose THIS much wait unless they are in the same shoes as I am. My husband only has to lose 10-15 lbs, That's nothing to me. AND he'll probably lose it in no time since…

  • This is a good question since I noticed people have not logged in here in since last year. Hopefully everyone is still on target and focused. I am checking in daily so far, but that's because I'm knew. I want to make sure that I log ALL my food until I get better eating habits.
  • I prefer working out alone because others seem to want to "talk" vs really working out. Not that I "really" workout, but I find that I can focus better if I'm alone.
  • I was smart and put Fat Free Sour Cream dip, but ... um, Doritos counteracted that one. Did you make those special or just what others brought?
  • It changes. Sometimes it's going out with friends, drinks, karaoke. This weekend is being puppy free! We are keeping my daughter in law's puppy during the week until she is off for the summer. So this weekend is just "not having a puppy nipping at me all day." Summer, anything with water. Tubing, swimming, boating.…
  • It started when I was a child. I remember taking ballet and one of the kids said that I looked pregnant. So much for ballet. I am just now getting back in the "job market" and know that it won't be as easy. Who wants to hire a "fat" lady? Their lazy! That's what I'm thinking. When I was looking for work in the other…
  • Chips and Salsa! An entire bag of tortilla chips! Yum!
  • KEEP DOING JILLIAN MICHAELS 30 Days.... I did that and it really helped. Granted, I haven't done it since and I have gained all my weight back, but when I did it it helped. I love her! Anyhow, feeling like a failure, you just can't give up. Also, don't overdo the workouts. Eventually it will make you not want to workout…
  • Finding groups like this where I can post and also see others who are going through similar. I tried the "get fit for the wedding" and it didn't work for me. My weight went the other way. Fortunately my dress fit perfectly when I bought it so didn't have to let it out. Lately I have not had much drive. I feel discouraged…
  • Sometimes a cocktail will do the trick! ;) I like the idea of calling grandma (or someone) and just not tell her anything is wrong. Great idea. If it's just prolonging, I usually just return home. Kind of like pressing the reset button. Will start fresh tomorrow. My bad days are never work related since I'm a sub, and if I…
  • Crying, that's what gets me back on track! Okay, not really, but I ALWAYS feel guilty when I binge. It's definitely a problem that I have, especially in restaurants. I don't always come "right back" after a binge. It's not always easy. In my house, not a problem. I don't leave foods that will cause me to binge. If pizza…
  • AWESOME! I'm not alone! I have to say, I wondered if this was the group for me and then I read this. I know there's not much activity in it right now, but let's see if we can change that. ;) I so feel what you wrote. I am not certain about the timing, but that may sound just about right. Thank you for posting and I am…
