I quit back in 1998. I went to the dr with bronchitis and he put me on inhalers. I finally said this is stupid wanted to quit and he put me on Welbutrin. I also had to change my habits. I used to have one with my coffee in the morning. I changed the place where I had my coffee. I had one at lunch, I would eat somewhere…

I love mfp! It really does work! You have to track everything you eat. I have not been exercising since this heat and humidity hit and am still losing weight. Once it gets cooler, I will be back outside again.

Tonight I made the Biscuit and Burger Pie. It was excellent and my husband loved it also. It's a lot like sloppy joes but, a lot better and a biscuit on top. :)

I have a 20 oz bottle that I bring to work every day. I know I can drink 3 of these a day. One bottle between 8 & 10, one between 10 & 12 and one between 12 and before I leave at 4:30pm. Some days when I gets really hot, I have no problem drinking more. It's easier for me to count to 3 than it is to count to 8. :)

I made the Quick n easy quiche for lunch today. Very good!

That's awesome! Way to go! Congratulations!

Seeing the weight on the scale go down is my motivation.

when my scale never gets put away because, I know the next meal will be coming up and will have to weigh out something. :)

My calorie goal is 1300/day. Yesterday I earned 354 through exercise giving me a daily goal of 1654/day. I ate back 1600 and still lost weight this morning. I don't always eat everything back. I tend to not eat them back during the week. I can only fit 30 min of exercise in and don't burn that many calories. It's different…

I thought that if I roasted them in the oven with parmesan cheese like I do other veggies it would make them tolerable. Didn't work. They are best left at the store for those who really enjoy them.

I do not use Slenda either. It says you can use trivia which I used.It doesn't have that bitter taste.

yes! I have both of her cookbooks. I have made a few of the recipes and so far I have not been disappointed. My husband, who is a fussy eater, has also liked the recipes. I have other recipes bookmarked also. I have made: Turkey Scallopini and Creamy mushroom Sauce (Excellent!) One Pot Turkey Sausage Dinner ( good)…

I have a recipe for Blueberry cheesecake Bars that is to die for. You can't tell the difference! The filling is made with: 8 oz tub-style light cream cheese 4 oz nonfat fat cream cheese ( I used fat free) 2/3 cup granulated no-calorie sweetener (I used Truvia) 1 large egg 1 large egg white 3/4 tsp vanilla extract 1/4 tsp…

That is awesome! Go you! Congratulations and continued success.

It's been 4 weeks and 3 days and hit my 10 lbs loss this morning. :)

You could make a frittata. I make mine with zucchini, mushrooms and onions but, could very well add breakfast sausage. I sprinkle1/3 cup parmesan cheese on top and broil for about 2-3 mins just until the cheese melts and is browned. Very good and healthy.

It's been 4 weeks for me and have lost 9 lbs so far. Not very consistant with exercising. I really need to get better at it. Happy the weight is coming off though.

I have the ft4 with the chest strap and love it.

I can't do it without weighing and counting calories. It takes no time at all. I plan my lunch and dinner ahead of time and log everything in all at once for that day, while I'm eating my breakfast. Everything beyond that takes only a second to log in. Most of the food is already in on my list. I also use a HRM while…
-
I did Weight Watchers for a while and tracked my food and was successful. One day I said to myself, I don't need to log my food any more. I know what I have to do. I didn't work! Slowly, I went right back to the way I was eating before. I have to hold myself accountable for the food I eat and if that means coming in here…

Good morning! I did day one yesterday. Using my FT4 HRM, I burned 190 cals. That's just me though. It's an individual thing. How much you can put into it. Some people may have burned a lot more than I did. Good luck with it! :)

I apologize for that. That was not my intention at all I assure you.
