Last month I started going to Barre at my gym once per week and doing Barre3 online another one or two times a week. I love both and am hooked, but I definitely prefer the in-person classes. Last month I supplemented Barre with a combination of cardio on the arc trainer & PiYo. My gym just increased their price a bit and…

I'd love to add more people on here! I'm 26, a vegetarian, & am presently doing a mix of PiYo, Barre, & cardio on the arc trainer.
-
I'm using a VivoSmart & added you all. I'm krm2007 over here!

I really feel like PiYo is going to be the program that breaks me out of the on-and-off workout cycle I have been stuck in for two years. I adore T25, but I've never made it past week four because even the modifications are too much for me as my first program back on the horse. I encourage folks to at least give the…

I'm laughing at but liking your alarm in the living room routine. I didn't work out last night, so I slept in my workout clothes, loaded up my video, & set my laptop up for my workout this morning... but the snooze button got me.
-
Woohoo!
-
FWIW, I'm starting week 4 of T25. I've actually gained ~4 lbs, & while I'm (stupidly) not measuring inches, I'm definitely losing them. Are you seeing results that way?
-
Congrats!

Just snacked on edamame. Craving more edamame... Yum.
-
Haven't gotten to that point myself yet, but I echo the advise to proceed to Beta. I'm doing these workouts in my 3rd floor apartment so I don't forsee myself ever straying from Tania for the sake of the fellow living below me. I still expect to see results though!

I'd forgotten how much I hate JM workouts. I did week 1, workout 2 last night after T25 total body circuit & I was certain I was going to throw up!
-
I'm doing T25 right now, modifying the schedule as need be but definitely doing each of the 6 workouts each week. I usually try to spread them over 5 days, & add in an extra workout (usually pilates, now I'm trying JM Body Revolution) most of those days for a total of ~5 hours/week.
-
I'm 24, currently doing T25 with some Jillian Michaels Body Revolution on the side. Feel free to add me!

Gotcha. That's how I've always understood it, but I've read some things recently that confused me - information overload. Thanks for clearing that up!

I feel like I used to understand TDEE, but now it's all jumbling together. Do net calories ever play a role in eating for TDEE? I thought I read that you should at least net 1,200 every day. But I see people with extreme burns that are netting less than 1,000 & losing, & now I'm reading about starvation mode being a myth,…

Love, love, love T25. I just started week 3. My whole body, but especially my core & legs, already feel stronger. Last night I was able to hold plank position for a little bit - I still followed the modifier for the actual moves, but just the fact that I was able to hold myself up was amazing! Definitely recommend it.
-
I did W3D1&D2, Total Body & Speed 1.0 last night (have meetings later in the week & no time to work out those days). I actually stayed in plank for a little bit! I couldn't do any of the moves from there, but week 1 I couldn't hold myself up at all so I'm happy with that improvement.

Thanks for the recs!

We're struggling with this right now. I do the cooking, & he had a hard time when I went vegetarian in June, but was happy with (tolerated?) the carb-heavy meals. Now that I'm adding in more vegetables, less crap, we can't find a balance. I'm frustrated that he won't eat what I make, & he's frustrated that I'm making…

I am super out of shape - I find myself wheezing after climbing the stairs to my 3rd floor apartment. Week 1 was tough, & while week 2 was certainly still hard, I definitely noticed a difference in my endurance. While everyone was starting a cardio segment during week 1 of abs, I found myself still struggling to get off…

I hadn't foam rolled in well over a year since switching from a nice gym to a crappy foam roller-less one. I just purchased my own boy have I missed it. Hurts like hell using it, especially on the IT band, but I feel better afterward.

I'm somewhere between the middle of the two of you. I agree that you don't always get the best instruction the first time you're doing the moves - I definitely have to stop, watch, & figure it out. I do think that for some moves, they spend far too long on the people doing the regular workout & I have to sit & wait for…

I'm doing my third round of Alpha - every other time I've become lazy after 4 weeks, but I hope to stick with it this time. It really is a fabulous workout, & I love Shaun T. I did a YouTube workout on my rest day this weekend & it drove me nuts - the instructor had no energy, we kept taking 15 second breaks for no…

I burned 150 doing Lower Focus & 250 doing cardio this weekend. I mostly do the modified moves - sometimes I need to (anything involving upper body strength... I have none) & for any of the jumpy stuff, I feel bad for the tenant below me so I keep it lower impact.

I saw one for migraines about a year ago, & he also worked on one of my hips while I was there. It was fantastic, definitely made a difference, & I hate that I can't afford to go regularly (when it started helping, my insurance declared me cured & won't cover any more visits).
-
Just started yesterday, & did 20 minutes of pilates afterward. I. Am. So. Sore. But I like it :)
-
Posting so I can search some of these later :) Thanks!

I love my FT4. The battery was too weak to pick up the heart rate signal yesterday. I felt lost without it - seeing the calorie burn gives me a nice push when I want to quit! I'm sure it's not 100% accurate calorie-wise, but I like tracking my heart rate as well & it has been totally worth the investment.
