  • Elliptical used to be my thing but it's become increasingly challenging to use it. So now I just go for the Treadmill. I noticed however, on the Elliptical I tend to burn more calories and my heart rate remains elevated longer.

  • I use Bsn - Syntha-6 Vanilla Ice Cream Protein. Its the only protein shake I've tasted that actually tastes good. If you like Milk you can use that. You'd swear you are drinking a real milkshake.

  • This sounds like a good idea. I just recently decided to reduce my carbs to a constant 70 instead of the 180 recommended by MFP. In two weeks I should be able to see if the idea works for me. If not I'll try carb cycling.
  • What do you guys think about Bsn - Syntha-6? I have been using it and the taste is fantastic. The vanilla taste like real milkshake.

  • Do you exercise? I started using MFP faithfully in March. I lost 1lb in 3 weeks. So I guess one has to be patient. Unfortunately, I went on vacation and gained it back :( plus some. I am back on track now and hoping to see results. I am not working out yet trying to get my food on track first.

  • This is interesting I am struggling to get to 1900 calories plus . But thanks to reading this blog I realized that increasing my weight loss to 1.5lbs per week reduces my calorie intake to 1600 working out 3 times a week. When I workout I will have 1900 when I don't then I will be at 1600. I'm I on the right track?
  • Thanks for posting this. It kinda opened my eyes somewhat. In the past I would workout and burn 600 calories plus I'd eat 400 less than what MFP calculates. Evidently this was the wrong approach since I haven't lost. I will try this idea of eating more and hopefully I start seeing results.
  • I just checked my dairy and I allowed to eat 258grams of Carbs. Is that too much? Also, I eat Yoplait light which is high in carbs. So should I cut that out?

  • I am curious about this too. I guess all along I've been doing it wrong. I eat 1700 calories and workout. I guess that explains why I haven't lost weight in the past. MFP calculates I need 1900 does that mean if I workout I increase what I eat?
  • Wow! The ratio of men to women is significant here. I just started with this. I've tried logging my meals in the past but I haven't been successful. Hopefully, blogging about it here will help me remain focused. I need to loose 60 lbs. I look forward to achieve my goal this year.
